Former Cardiff City player Nathan Blake on BBC Radio 5 Live:

"If Cardiff are in danger come Christmas I personally would still stick with Neil Warnock.

"Before Neil came in Cardiff were going to League One in my opinion. He’s come in, done what he’s done for the club and saved them. Then promised ‘I’ll get you in the top eight, top six, maybe playoffs’ the year after. He totally exceeded expectation and got promoted.

"Cardiff’s problem is they don’t seem to have a plan beyond getting into the Premier League. People at the club relaxed, but after five or six games last season, you could tell they would be there, or thereabouts and should have put a plan of action in place."
