Philip Billing is just short of getting to the rebound at a corner, and seconds later Isaac Success has a chance at the other end, but his wayward shot was charged down.

Soon after, Gerard Deulofeu earns the wrath of Success, electing to shoot when his team mate was free outside the area. Deulofeu goes ballooning over the bar.

This time it is Ben Foster who comes off his ground, racing towards the touchline to get a toe to the ball just ahead of Laurent Depoitre.

Jonas Lossl is lured out of his area and Gerard Deulofeu goes round him, but his final effort is made off-balance and the shot drifts just wide.

Gerard Deulofeu feeds Isaac Success who shoots on target, but Jonas Lossl has no problem making the save low to his left.

The hosts have dominated the opening couple of minutes, with Will Hughes' cross from the right the best they can do following all their possession.

No personnel changes as we get under way - but Mooy is now on the right, Mbenza swaps to the left.

Two classy individual goals from Roberto Pereyra and Gerard Deulofeu give Watford the lead, but Huddersfield's flimsy defending let them down. Ben Foster has made two excellent saves at the other end, leaving the Terriers with an awful lot to do after the break.

Watford break out of defence, and Gerard Deulofeu tries a backheel to Isaac Success. It's a neat one that deserves better than Success' heavy-handed return ball that ends the attack.

Isaac Success goes straight through the Huddersfield defence into the area, with Matthias Jorgensen's last-minute tackle sending the ball on to Jonas Lossl's foot and away for a corner that comes to nothing.

Another long-range effort from Huddersfield - this time it's Philip Billing from 30+ yards out - draws an excellent one-handed save from Ben Foster, palming the ball over the bar.

It goes a bit quiet, and a disgruntled voice shouts "Come on Watford! 15 minutes and we haven't seen a goal!".

This is great banter, it really is...

Billing and Success tangle in the Huddersfield half, with Billing's clumsy tackle conceding the first booking of the day.

Isaac Success tries to be a bit too clever, with a couple of fancy step overs not fazing Philip Billing, who sticks a foot out to block the eventual cross from outside the left-hand side of the box.

Alex Pritchard stabs the ball across the area, it falls nicely for Aaron Mooy on the far side but his effort is driven low to Ben Foster's right, with the keeper dropping to it for a simple save.

Roberto Pereyra releases Isaac Success with a lovely pass over to the left. Success tries to return the favour but a Huddersfield leg just gets in the way at the last second.

Gerard Deulofeu slices through the Terriers' defence again, this time from the left wing before sending a low shot just wide of Lossl's right post from just inside the area. Huddersfield are strangely reluctant to get a foot in.
