    Well, what a first half at St James' Park that was.

    Newcastle were in control of this contest thanks to two Salomon Rondon goals - but Jefferson Lerma's header deep into stoppage time has set up a very exciting second half.

    The ball is whipped in by David Brooks from the free-kick, it's cleared but only as far as Ryan Fraser who delivers another good cross into the box where Jefferson Lerma is placed to half the deficit before the interval.

    It's his team-mate Callum Wilson who directs the ball towards goal and Begovic has a split second to react and push the ball over the bar.

    The Cherries are able to clear their lines again but they've been put under real pressure by the Magpies in the last few minutes.

    The Newcastle striker initially dropped deep to collect the ball, before racing into the penalty area in time to meet Kenedy's excellent cross at head the ball powerfully beyond Asmir Begovic.

    In fact their only home league win against the Cherries came back in February 1990.

    28 years later and they're looking in a good position here - but the Cherries have looked dangerous when they break. They have a free-kick in a promising position now.
