And Arsenal do hold on as Paul Tierney blows his whistle.
The Gunners are unbeaten in 21 matches in all competitions and move third in the Premier League for now, with Chelsea and Spurs to play later.
Huddersfield played a blinder for long periods, frustrating their hosts, but were undone by a moment of sublime quality by Lucas Torreira.
The Terriers slip into the bottom three.

Into the last minute of added time and Arsenal win a throw deep in Huddersfield territory.

Jonas Lossl is out of his area for a Huddersfield free kick!
It rattles around outside the Arsenal area and the hosts get it under control.
Lossl sprints back and his defence do well enough to slow Arsenal down.
Matteo Guendouzi is slid in but Lossl is back and smothers the ball, also doing well not to foul the young Gunner.

Florent Hadergjonaj swings in a delicious cross towards Laurent Depoitre but he heads it straight down into an Arsenal shirt and the hosts clear.

Sokratis comes across and gives him a bit of a nudge as Depoitre falls to the fall.
Paul Tierney confuses everyone by sticking his arm straight out but it's just to award a goal kick, not a penalty.
Depoitre is incensed and gets Sokratis goading him for good measure.

WHAT A GOAL.
The little Uruguayan pulls out a blinding bicycle kick to put Arsenal in front.
Matteo Guendouzi floats in a ball to the back post, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang manages to bring it down and clips a deft reverse pass back across the six-yard box.
It's drifting slightly behind Lucas Torreira but he rises to acrobatically volley the ball into the net.

Sead Kolasinac strides forward and is played in by Alex Iwobi.
Kolasinac swings in a cross but Henrikh Mkhitaryan heads it over.

Matteo Guendouzi picks up Arsenal's third yellow card for simulation today.
He gets round Aaron Mooy in the area and drops to the floor.
There is nothing much in it and it's definitely not a foul. Paul Tierney is not impressed and produces the card.

But his attempted pass to release Sead Kolasinac is poor and Huddersfield clear.
Only briefly mind as Arsenal come forward again but Henrikh Mkhitaryan's cross skips through everyone in the area and deflects off Kolasinac for a goal kick, with the Arsenal defender slow to react.
"Calm down," motions Unai Emery on the bench.

Bacuna plays in Alex Pritchard down the right into the area but Sokratis sprints back and makes a fine saving tackle, even playing the ball off Pritchard to win a goal kick.

Granit Xhaka curls the free-kick too close to Jonas Lossl, whose punch out is battered high over the bar by Hector Bellerin.

Lucas Torreira and Sokratis just look at each other as Laurent Depoitre gets to the ball first.
But a saving tackle prevents the Huddersfield man surging away on goal.
Bacuna then clips Torreira and Arsenal have a free-kick on the left in a promising area.

But he can't find a red shirt and Huddersfield hack it clear.
