Forget Christmas dinner, Manchester City have gone full English - and that’s what it’s all about.
Here come the teams...
Big opportunity for City to go back to the top of the table.
For Everton, a win would lift them above Manchester United into sixth and move them towards their loftier ambitions of breaking into that top six.
Man City v Everton (12:30 GMT)
Manchester City are unbeaten in 51 league matches against teams outside the established top six since a 4-0 defeat at Everton in January 2017 (W44, D7).
But the Premier League champions lost to Chelsea last time out and it is two years since they lost consecutive league games, while they have never gone successive league matches without scoring under Pep Guardiola.

Without going all Kyle Reese on you, there are shades of The Terminator in Pep Guardiola's programme notes today.
No, the City boss does not reveal he is a time-travelling cyborg assassin, but when he writes about how he wants his side to react to last weekend's defeat by Chelsea, their first in the Premier League this season, he describes the relentless approach he demands from his players for 90 minutes.
"We are a side that never stops," says Pep.
As Kyle would say - listen, and understand.

If the opportunities are there Everton have to press high and show Manchester City they are not just here to defend deep. Yes, there are moments where you are defending your own penalty area but when you get that opportunity you have to show Manchester City they are in a game and keep them honest.

It's a bleak and bitterly cold afternoon at Etihad Stadium, with a biting wind to contend with too. On top of that, there is sleet forecast for around kick-off time. Nice.
Basically it's the sort of weather where you would probably consider buying a half-and-half scarf and a novelty santa hat outside the ground - not because you are a tourist or feeling the festive spirit, but just to try to stop yourself from turning into an ice-cube once you are in your seat.
Whatever the temperature, Manchester City's home form is usually red-hot, though - they are chasing their 10th consecutive Premier League home win today. Everton, who have won only once on the road so far this season, stand in their way.
