  • Chelsea have won three of last four Premier League games

  • Leicester have lost back-to-back league games

  1. Postpublished at 19 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Ben Chilwell wins a corner. Again the full-back is keen to get involved in the attack. James Maddison will deliver once more.

Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan, there are some bodies to aim at.

    Cleared at the near post.

  2. CLOSE!published at 17 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

From Willian's corner, Pedro flicks on at the front post, and David Luiz almost connects at the far stick with the whole goal to aim at - the ball just travelled over his head and out.

  3. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Interesting! Mateo Kovacic leans back and strikes a first-time shot way, way over the bar. Not the finish you would have expected there, from the edge of the box.

N'Golo Kante is almost slipped in from David Luiz's little chip beyond the defence.

Chelsea are looking confident on the ball but slightly less so at the back. Leicester seemingly content to sit back and pick their moments.

  4. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Fantastic work from Ben Chilwell. He sprints into the box to connect with a one-two off James Maddison, the midfielder setting his team-mate up with a delicate flick, David Luiz has to come across and clear before his keeper.

Maddison to deliver the resulting corner, which is cleared partly before a Marc Albrighton cross from the right finds Wes Morgan in the box, the centre-back nodding wide under heavy pressure.

Leicester's most impressive moments so far.

  5. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

All Chelsea in these early stages, Leicester have hardly touched the ball. The Blues are very quick and very precise in possession along the lines in front of the away side's defence. Looking for a way through, they're yet to find one.

  6. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Free-kick Chelsea on the edge of the area as James Maddison commits a silly foul through the back of Jorginho.

Willian looks keen to swing it into a loaded box.

Kasper Schmeichel comes out to punch clear.

  7. CLOSE!published at 3 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Hamza Choudhury with a rather rugged, bristling challenge on Eden Hazard who for a time stays on the turf.

David Luiz holds up play on the halfway line as he waits for the Belgian to recover. No Leicester pressure on him, Luiz launches up the pitch for Willian to chase.

The ball bounces on the edge of the box and almost ends up going in! Neither Willian nor the oncoming Kasper Schmeichel got a touch on it and it bounces just wide of the post.

Definitely would have been up there with most bizarre goals of the season.

I feel for Claude Puel. Two weeks ago I saw them play Tottenham, they were on a long unbeaten run, and suddenly he's on the brink of being sacked, if you believe some of the stories. He faces Chelsea and Manchester City next - good luck with those two.

He's done OK. I understand that people are disappointed with the weakened team he put out in midweek - that was a competition they could have won.

It is plain to see what makes Eden Hazard so good, his trickery, intelligence, he sees the game happen before everyone but also has the talent to build on what he sees.

What he has done in the last three or four years is become the focal point. Before he was happy to stick to the wing and wait to get the ball, now he wants to get the ball and win games for his club. You can see why he’s linked with even bigger clubs.

Appropriately enough for 'whispering' Claude Puel,, external there has been a low murmuring about his future almost from the moment he became Leicester's manager 14 months ago.

After back-to-back league defeats and a Carabao Cup exit, the noises have started again, external - which seems a bit harsh on a manager who led Leicester to their longest unbeaten run since the title-winning campaign, a sequence which ended only a fortnight ago.

Chelsea have dropped eight points in their last six league games, exactly the tally by which they trail the leaders Liverpool.

Maurizio Sarri's side are full of promise, and his aims for this season are realistic and achievable. Nevertheless, five outstanding teams into four places won't go and there's little margin for error.
