    West Ham 0-0 Watford

Signs Watford are settling nicely here as they win their first corner.

Kiko Femenia's little dinked ball causes havoc in the West Ham penalty area and Troy Deeney's prod at goal deflects wide.

    West Ham 0-0 Watford

In comes the corner from the left and Hammers midfielder Declan Rice gets a head on the ball.

But he can't generate any power. His header is easily held by Watford keeper Ben Foster.

Chance. Well half a chance for West Ham but Robert Snodgrass' shot deflects wide for a corner.

    West Ham 0-0 Watford

    Hit it. Just hit it.

What is Gerard Deulofeu thinking? The ball drops to the Watford forward 12 yards out and he turns his nose up at a shot. Instead he lays the ball off into No man's land and the chance disappears.

Some neat football from the visitor's there though with Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ken Sema involved.

    West Ham 0-0 Watford

West Ham are straight on to the attack here. There's a shout of handball as Watford defender Christian Kabasele cuts out Michail Antonio's cross with Javier Hernandez lurking.

Nothing doing though. That was a good intervention.

Have to say I'm a big fan of the way kick-off at the London Stadium is always timed for the final throes of 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles'.

West Ham v Watford (15:00 GMT)

West Ham's team news is straightforward enough... it is the same XI which started last weekend's win over Fulham. Not only that, it is also the same bench.

Not much movement for Watford either. One change from last weekend's victory against Cardiff as midfielder Etienne Capoue returns after a three-match ban.

Ex-Hammers youngster Domingos Quina, who scored in the 3-2 win, drops to the bench.

West Ham have shown what momentum can do to Premier League fortunes. Manuel Pellegrini's four defeats in a row, external in his first four league games seem a distant memory as he bids to become the first Hammers manager to win five consecutive league games since Alan Pardew 12 years ago.

They've begun to make the London Stadium feel like home, and despite being without the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere, have moved up to within two points of the top six.

In contrast, Watford are grateful for their early season points - and their return to winning ways last weekend. They have won just two of their last 20 away from Vicarage Road and will be fully aware that improving that record in this fixture will be a challenging proposition.

West Ham v Watford (15:00 GMT)

    Good afternoon.

So I'm not exactly sure what to expect from this contest. After all it's two evenly matched sides occupying ninth and 10th in the Premier League, both on 24 points.

Both are within touching distance of a top six place and there's an uncanny symmetry to the way the Hammers started with four straight defeats, while the Hornets won their opening four games.

So basically everything to play for today, with both teams being able to leapfrog Wolves (who lost to Liverpool on Friday), Everton (who play Spurs on Sunday, 16:00 GMT) and Man Utd, who don't kick-off until 17:30 GMT.
