That was the game in microcosm. Chelsea have good possession outside the Watford box, but the hosts nick it and get down the other end on the counter attack.

Again, Chelsea unable to convert a cross into the six yard box.

This time Cesar Azpilicueta plays a inviting ball deep in the Watford area, but where was Eden Hazard to gobble it up?

The Belgian is there for an easy finish, but completely misses his kick.

Not happening for Chelsea in the final third at the moment.

Eden Hazard is frustrated and is dropping deep for the ball and then spreads the play out wide to Pedro.

The Spaniard flashes a cross across the box but with no traditional number nine playing for the Blues, the ball rolls out of play for a throw in.

I'm with the referee there. Eden Hazard did well to get away from the defender but I think he just lost his legs a little bit and it got away from him.

Substance over style from the two sides at the moment.

Plenty of graft but very little quality.

Eden Hazard has barely had a kick.

Rough stuff from Antonio Rudiger, catching Watford striker Troy Deeney on the head with an elbow when challenging for a high ball.

No booking though, says referee Martin Atkinson.
