Jamie Vardy has had a quiet half, although the former England striker probably had the best chance when he was slipped through by James Maddison, only to shoot straight at Etheridge.

The referee brings play to a halt for half-time.

Harry Arter slides in on Wilfred Ndidi and there is a momentary pause in play as the referee assesses his options. In the end it is just a telling-off and a free-kick to Leicester.

As the half reaches its conclusion, Demarai Gray tries his luck from distance but it goes straight at Neil Etheridge, and the Cardiff keeper makes a comfortable save.

The atmosphere has petered out around the King Power as there is a slight lull in the action.

Leicester continue to see more of the ball but Jamie Vardy is having a quiet game and Cardiff are defending well so far.
