    Some more magic from Rashford.

There isn't much on for the England striker, so he drops the shoulder, goes past Pascal Gross and whips in a cross for Jesse Lingard, who just had to tap the ball in, but shoots wide.

Free-kick to United from the left.

Ashley Young with the dummy run to leave it for Marcus Rashford, who drills the ball at goal, but it doesn't quite dip enough to find the corner.

I'll be honest I didn't get what we were doing appointing a caretaker manager... but what a great decision so far!! Does Ed Woodward get the credit for this one?! He was due a good appointment at some point...

Jury still out for me when it comes to Rashford, and it will remain so until he finishes the routine chances more clinically. Does the difficult things well, but far too often fails to put away straightforward chances. I still need convincing.

Amazing to think earlier this season it was being asked why Marcus Rashford does so much better for England than Manchester United.

I can't imagine him being able to create space in the box the way that he did for his goal two months ago.

The belief surging through this United team just now is something to behold.

What a way to mark his 150th game for United.

    Beautiful goal.

The 21-year-old is played in by Dalot, sends Pascal Gros the wrong way with some trickery and then finds the top corner.

When Paul Pogba is playing in the right position and the manager trusts him...he's an awesome player to watch, best midfield player in the premier league at his best.

It was a brilliant first touch from Paul Pogba to create the problem. Gaeten Bong is always reaching for it and it's a penalty, it's a definite foul.

Almost a second for United and what a beauty that would have been.

Lindelof's long ball is brought down in the box by Martial, but David Button does well to make himself big and deny the Frenchman.

Straight up the other end, Glen Murray lashes a half-volley wide.

Brighton are currently laying siege to United's goal, some last-ditch clearances from the host's defence are needed.

After a long wait to take the penalty, Paul Pogba started his stuttering run-up. It brought groans from the home supporters, after which Pogba strode up and smacked it into the net.

    Paul Pogba

The run-up was shorter, but Pogba finds the back of the net.

It was nowhere near the stuttering run-up we saw in the Jose Mourinho days, but Pogba has not cut it out of his penalty routine altogether.

And there was a Bebeto baby celebration to boot - the Frenchman recently had a baby.

Having just said that, Marcus Rashford sees a shot cleared off the line by the head of Shane Duffy.

Soon after, Paul Pogba tries with an overhead kick from close range, it's wide but United win a corner.

It's taken short to Rashford, he turns and tries to bend it into the top corner, but it's just too high.

That is what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in his pre-match press conference yesterday.

It is more than he is interested to see what the reaction from his players will be than any great desire to actually concede goals.

Corner to Brighton, the visitors have had approximately 20% of the possession, but have a chance here.

It's played in deep to the back post and Shane Duffy does well to get a head on it, but his effort drifts safely towards De Gea.
