    HT: Scotland 0-0 Belgium

Scotland did well to contain the Belgians for most of that half. Only a shared moment of madness between Craig Gordon and John McGinn really let them down. Still a lack of cohesion between midfield and attack though. Leigh Griffiths has looked mostly lost sandwiched between Dedryck Boyata and Vincent Kompany.

  3. HALF-TIME Scotland 0-1 Belgiumpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 7 September 2018

Scotland contained the visitors for the opening 20 minutes, but thereafter the second best team in the world have been toying with their hosts.

Alex McLeish's team, though, handed the goal to the visitors with Craig Gordon's dangerous throw to John McGinn and the midfielder loss of control that led to Romelu Lukaku's goal.

Roberto Martinez's took control from that point as their hosts appeared to lose confidence.
