My assertion about four years ago that James McCarthy was better than Ramsey wasn't my best 'football opinion' to be honest.

Chance for Sporting now as Abdoulaye Diaby attempts an audacious acrobatic volley. He volleys it straight at Carl Jenkinson's arm and appeals for a penalty.

Unless Jenkinson could turn himself into a ghost there, I'm not sure how he was meant to avoid a shot from two yards away.

Just 40 seconds after the restart and Arsenal are almost ahead. Stephan Lichtsteiner flicks a header onto Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whose cross finds Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - who turns it wide from close range.

The second half is under way. As things stand, Arsenal will go through to the knockout stages. But that depends on the other game in the group if they don't win this.

Real Betis had hoped to seal their place in the last 32 today. They're doing their bit, leading AC Milan 1-0.

But they also needed Olympiakos to not win. The Greek side are 4-0 up against Dudelange, who are heading out.

Dinamo Zagreb look like they're moving into the knockout stages. They lead Spartak Trnava 2-0. Any win would take them through.

Bordeaux will be out if they lose today, but they are 1-0 up against Zenit St Petersburg at half-time.

Francois Kamano put them ahead with a penalty.

Takumi Minamino has scored a hat-trick for Red Bull Salzburg, who are 4-0 up at Rosenborg. But they won't clinch their place just yet if Celtic hang onto their 1-0 lead against RB Leipzig.

As things stand, FC Zurich would be into the last 32. They're drawing 0-0 against Bayer Leverkusen. But a goal in the group's other game between Ludogorets Razgrad and AEK Larnaca (also goalless) could change that.
