Republic of Ireland have soaked up a lot of pressure and this is the closest they have come to conceding.

A lovely team move sees the ballplayed to Peter Ankersen advancing down the right and his low shot is brilliantly palmed out by Darren Randolph.

Striker Nicolai Jorgensen - linked with a move to Newcastle in the summer - reacts quickest to the rebound, but his shot is blocked by skipper Seamus Coleman.

The livewire Serge Gnarby in the thick of the action again.

He bursts forward into the box to meet Nico Schulz's cross from the left, but can only place his header wide of the far stick.
