  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 36 mins

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

A blow for Derby as goalscorer Craig Bryson can't shake off an injury and is substituted.

Not a bad replacement though, as Wales international Tom Lawrence comes on.

That's a forward for a midfielder - Frank Lampard isn't in this management lark for the one-goal wins is he?

  2. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United win a free-kick on the edge of the box and a training ground routine fools everyone to send Mark Duffy free to the by-line.

But he skies his cross over everyone...

    More frustration on the bench.

  3. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

A quarter of the way through and one goal doesn't do this game justice.

Derby's counter-attacking threat almost sends them though but Harry Wilson can't deliver the pass to Jack Marriott when the Rams had a two v one.

Sheffield United race straight up the other end and keep pushing for an equaliser.

Enda Stephens in the end has a shot blocked from a corner.

Sheffield United really are starting to build pressure now.

They're buzzing around in those fluorescent yellow shirts both with and without the ball, it just begs the question - what happened in those opening few minutes?

Don't be surprised if a goal comes soon.

  5. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United with their first spell of sustained pressure in and around the Derby box.

It ends with Rams keeper Scott Carson tripping Billy Sharp in the area.

Luckily for him, when the referee's whistle went it was because the flag was up for offside.

    Good response from the Blades.

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

I could be really setting myself up here, but we're in for a superb game of football if the opening 10 minutes is anything to go by.

Derby are passing it around beautifully and Sheffield United are starting to get going too.

Frank Lampard is unsurprisingly the much happier looking manager on the touchline - Blades boss Chris Wilder is cutting a frustrated figure.

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

There's no doubt about it, Sheffield United were on the ropes for a bit then.

Derby are all over them with the sort of high pressing football that Chris Wilder's Blades would have been looking to impose on the Rams.

The visitors win a corner to get their breath back and nothing comes of it.

We all need a moment to calm down, this is high octane stuff.

    Craig Bryson

    Utter madness.

I don't think Sheffield United had actually woken up!

Just 19 seconds gone and Craig Bryson fires home at the end of a sweeping move from Derby.

    Crazy stuff.

Derby v Sheff Utd (17:30 BST)

Derby boss Frank Lampard starts Martyn Waghorn and Jack Marriott together in the league for the first time.

Tom Huddlestone also makes his first appearance at Pride Park this season.

Derby XI: Carson, Forsyth, Bryson, Tomori, Keogh, Wilson, Mount, Waghorn, Marriott, Bogle, Huddlestone

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder sticks with the same team that beat Hull before the international break as his side chase a fifth straight Championship win to ensure they'll end the weekend top of the table, just as they started it.

Conor Washington is named on the bench after missing Northern Ireland duty for personal reasons.

Sheffield United XI: Henderson, Stevens, Fleck, O'Connell, Basham, Sharp, Egan, Norwood, McGoldrick, Freeman, Duffy.

Derby's highlight of the season so far was surely knocking Manchester United out of the League Cup last month, but they haven't won since.

Defeat at Bolton followed, then there have been draws with Norwich and QPR for Frank Lampard's side.

Derby's man of the match at Old Trafford was Harry Wilson, who's fresh from scoring another stunning free kick, this time for Wales against the Republic of Ireland.

Can he strike this evening to help the Rams' play-off push?

Sheffield United are chasing a fifth straight Championship win that would send them back to the top of the table.

In fact, after West Brom and Leeds both lost, a point would be enough.

Chris Wilder's side lost their opening two league games of the season, but have since won eight out of 10 matches.

Feel free to scroll down and use this against me later, but the Blades haven't really been interested in drawing - it's only happened once in the league this season.
