Well, well, I'm sure we'll hear plenty more about that Leeds leveller over the next 24 hours.

But that's where we'll end today's mammoth live text commentary.

It started with a couple of own goals at the Riverside, was sandwiched by Sheffield United going top of the Championship, and ended in controversy.

Plenty to digest as you go about your Saturday evening. Anyway, thanks for your company and we'll be back next weekend.

Greg: That linesman should be sacked. Sorry but that’s just cheating by the Leeds forward. It wasn’t even subtle. Should get a ban.

  4. "They were wasting time"published at 19:32 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    FT: Leeds 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Leeds goalscorer Kemar Roofe adds to Sky Sports:

"We were the better team, we were playing our football, everyone was doing their job.

"You could tell from the first half they were wasting time, we kept on pushing and we manage to get a result."

  5. "The ball hit my hand"published at 19:29 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    FT: Leeds 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Leeds forward Kemar Roofe tells Sky Sports:

"I just saw the ball flash across and the ball hit my hand. Call it ball to hand, it's a goal and it's up to the ref to give it and he gave it."

  6. FULL-TIMEpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 27 October 2018

    Leeds 1-1 Nottingham Forest

The game ends all-square, but it's a hugely controversial result.

Kemar Roofe levelled for Leeds with his arm, but it wasn't spotted by the officials.

Both sides will have to settle for a point - probably a fair result on the balance of the game - but Forest are furious.

So close for Leeds forward Pablo Hernandez.

He flicks a low cross inches wide of the post. Was that the final chance for the hosts?

    Leeds 1-1 Nottingham Forest

This would be Forest's eighth draw of the season, should they hold out for another couple of minutes.

But they'll surely feel it should be all three points.

Daniel Stevanato: Yet another case for more technology. Completely unobstructed view and the lino has somehow managed miss that handball. VAR chalks it off immediately. Forest absolutely robbed by incompetent officials.

Kevin Maltby: Forget Maradona. Kemar Roofe has the Hand of God there! Shocking! Absolute robbery!

Five minutes of stoppage time for either side to find a winner.

    Surely not?

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 88 mins

    Leeds 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Yep, Forest have lost their heads.

Joao Carvalho goes into the book for kicking the ball away, shortly followed by Gil Dias for a bad tackle.

Aitor Karanka is steaming on the touchline. They feel robbed by that Kemar Roofe equaliser.

Matty Cash is replaced by Gil Dias.

    Forest are clinging on.

Leeds are pushing for a winner now.

The Forest players need to keep their heads. They're stunned that equaliser was given.

Goal given. But it's handball. Wow.

There is a HUGE amount of controversy about this Leeds equaliser.

Mateusz Klich pulls it back to Kemar Roofe and the forward bundles it in on the goal-line with his arm.

The Forest players are furious, but the goal is awarded by Geoff Eltringham.

Pass, pass, pass, give it away.

Samu Saiz is this time the guilty man for Leeds on the edge of the Forest box.

    Leeds 0-1 Nottingham Forest

It's basically a sea of white shirts attacking against an army of red jerseys throwing their bodies in front of everything.

One of the strangest Championship games I've seen in a while! Both goalkeepers might as well pull up deck chairs, they've had so little to do tonight.

  18. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest still have everyone behind the ball. In fairness they have since Jack Robinson's goal on 11 minutes.

Leeds just can't find that killer final pass.

  19. Postpublished at 71 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Was that Leeds' moment?

Teenager Jack Clarke jinks past a Forest defender, sticks in a low cross and a sliding Pablo Hernandez is a blade of grass from making contact in front of goal.

Any sort of touch and that was surely a leveller.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Leeds 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Forest make their first switch.

Off comes Joe Lolley for Ben Osborn.
