Anderson stood out like a sore thumb. He gave DeAndre Yedlin a torrid time. The quality he possesses is unbelievable. He’s not selfish as a player.

He is becoming one of those cult heroes that West Ham like in their ranks.

It was an awful start, I’m not blaming tactics or Jose Mourinho, it was individual errors. Complacency, lack of concentration, call it what you want but you have a personal pride when you step onto the pitch.

As a professional playing for one of the biggest teams in the world you have to be ready. It's not acceptable, there were too many in the first half an hour, it was awful.

Palace’s season has been like that. They have played well, had lots of chances but not converted them. Again they didn’t, they had a lucky goal and a wonder goal.

Burnley gave nothing back, they were completely dominated. Andros Townsend’s goal was goal of the day.

    Chelsea v Fulham (12:00 GMT)

    .

Maurizio Sarri makes two changes to the side that were beaten by Tottenham last Saturday as Pedro and Olivier Giroud come in for Willian and Alvaro Morata drop to the bench.

It means there is a place for Eden Hazard in the starting XI, while Giroud will look to replicate his form from mid-week, when he struck twice in the win over PAOK Salonika.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Pedro, Hazard, Giroud.

Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Zappacosta, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Willian, Morata.

    .

Claudio Ranieri makes one change for his second match in charge at Fulham; as Stefan Johansen replaces Andre Schurrle, who does not make the matchday squad.

Aleksandar Mitrovic leads the line following his double in the defeat of Southampton last week, and midfielder Tom Cairney captains the side.

Fulham XI: Rico; Christie, Odoi, Mawson, Le Marchand; Seri, Chambers, Johansen, Cairney, Sessegnon; Mitrovic.

Subs: Bettinelli; Ream, Bryan, Kebano, Ayite, Cisse, Kamara.

  8. How it standspublished at 11:04 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

Following yesterday's victory for Manchester City, anything other than a win for Liverpool will be disappointing given the five-point gap that will have been created.

Arsenal can also drop four points off the top four if Chelsea beat Fulham and they fail to avoid defeat against rivals Spurs.

Whatever happens, there's expected to be plenty of change at the top!

  11. 'Southampton become nervous'published at 10:58 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    Southampton 2-2 Man Utd

    Jermaine Jenas
    Former England midfielder on MOTD

There are some huge positives for Southampton. They started the game well. But you can’t help but feel they become very, very nervous. The start was brilliant. They were a lot stronger and resolute – even if they were doing it as individuals. The tails were up - there was confidence.

However, there was that feeling in the stadium… what happens if? That’s now 12 points they've lost from winning positions, and that must be frustrating for Mark Hughes.

  12. 'Incredible to watch'published at 10:58 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2018

    Man City 3-1 Bournemouth

    Danny Murphy
    Former England midfielder on MOTD

Sane was incredible to watch, maybe he’s had a point to prove, there have been question marks over his character and personality. What I saw is a player who is hungry, working hard both ways. He’s devastating. Running with pace and making the right decisions. He has the desire to work hard, that’s what Pep wants. Bournemouth couldn’t cope with him. He was too good for them. We have eulogised over so many City players but I had to pick him out. He’s so young there is more to come, it is incredible. He was fantastic
