Let's see how BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin got on when she led a team of colleagues, including Arts and Entertainment correspondent Colin Paterson and 5 Live's Rachel Burden, in a five-a-side walking football game against the Rothwell Old Boars team.

And that brings the first 45 minutes to an end.

Here's hoping for some more goalmouth action in the second half...

The game is just gradually making its way to half-time now, although Etienne Capoue leaves a late tackle on Yves Bissouma to let him know there is still plenty to play for in the second period.

The game has been waiting for a delivery like that.

Pascal Gross whips in a great ball to the back post and Jurgen Locadia gets above his marker to direct his header on target, but veteran goalkeeper Ben Foster claws it away with a smart save.

The 36-year-old has still got plenty of agility.

Solly March has definitely been the brightest spark on an otherwise dull afternoon.

The Brighton winger skips through a couple of tackles before being brought down, but referee Simon Hooper turns away.

This time it's Ken Sema's turn to commit a foul near the centre circle.

Pascal Gross delivers the subsequent free-kick into the Watford area and but Davy Propper's side-foot volley goes over the bar.

It's a poor ball in and Watford break at speed but Davy Propper decides to stop the counter-attack at all costs with a late challenge on Ken Sema.

He can have no complaints over the yellow card.

Brighton win the first corner of the game as Solly March tries to outrun Jose Holebas.

The Watford defender manages to recover after falling behind but he can only divert the ball behind.

Brighton have a free-kick after Jose Holebas commits a foul by the dugout.

Lewis Dunk rises well to meet the set-piece but his header just goes wide.

First decent sight of goal for either side.

Possession changes hands a few times before Solly March spots Pascal Gross' run and lifts the ball into the Watford area - but the German is unable to meet the cross and it goes out for a goal kick.

Finally some action to talk about as Pascal Gross shows some tidy footwork to escape the attention of his marker, but his low effort drifts wide of Ben Foster's left-hand post.

We've just reached the halfway point of the first half, and the numbers definitely don't lie.

It's been an uneventful game so far...

Dale Stephens' late replacement Yves Bissouma tries his luck from 25 yards but his wild effort sails into the stands.

Watford string a couple of passes together before Daryl Janmaat crosses the ball into the box for Troy Deeney to run onto, but he can't direct his header on target.

The Brighton fans do their best to raise the atmosphere inside the ground, but nothing doing on the pitch as Jurgen Locadia attempts a cross-field ball which flies out of play.

As we tick past 10 minutes, we still haven't had a shot at goal at either end.

It's definitely been a slow-burner so far...
