Ouch. Dario Benedetto wheeled away and made a taunting face at the River defence as he celebrated his opening goal, and in return he's absolutely cleaned out by Jonatan Maidan in a brutish challenge now.
TWO minutes of time added on.
Dario Benedetto
Boca edge ahead as Dario Benedetto is set through clear on goal, running smartly between two defenders and skipping a challenge before steering a composed finish into the bustling net. A superb strike, just after a moment of madness from the Boca keeper almost handed River a free shot at his exposed net.

An intense noise has greeted every half chance.
We spoke to former Boca player Claudio Marangoni before the match. He predicted a rough match with some violence on the pitch.
But so far it’s been more nervy than violent.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Pablo Perez stamps his studs and throws his shoulders in frustration as the referee ticks him off for a challenge on Enzo Perez. It's a yellow card.
River's Enzo Perez came through sliding to win the ball, and Boca's Pablo Perez caught him on the ankle.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Lovely move from Boca. Sebastian Villa is looking impressive and he gets down the right wing, digs out a cross aimed at Dario Benedetto and the River keeper Franco Armani springs off his line to punch clear. Benedetto was micro-seconds away from connecting
River counter immediately and reach the edge of Boca's box but the cut-back is a little off target and when a first-time strike does come in it's ballooned over the bar.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Boca look to be retreating a little and allowing River to take the initiative for the rest of this half. Eight minutes to play. We've had so very few clear sights of goal, so many misplaced passes and turnovers in midfield.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
It's a high pace in the middle, Nahitan Nandez with a brilliant interception almost sets up Cristian Pavon with some space on the left wing, but River cover back strongly.
It feels like River are starting to grow into it more now... until Leonardo Ponzio plays a pass straight out of play.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
River threaten immediately down the other end, winning a corner as Boca take their turn to lunge into some desperate challenges at the back.
Corner River - but then the pressure is off after a foul in the box.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
It takes two and a half minutes to line up the wall, to get the players into position.
Finally the ref is happy.
Dario Benedetto strikes into the wall. Pablo Perez picks up the rebound and shoots back across goal, it looks to be sitting up perfectly for someone to follow in but somehow evades everyone and River survive.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
There's so many loose touches, so much pressure and eagerness from either side that this game is constantly twisting and turning.
Suddenly, there's a slip-up at the back from River, and Leonardo Ponzio comes sliding across to stop Nahitan Nandez from latching on to a loose ball on the edge of the box, with the whole goal to aim at.
Ponzio takes him out - yellow card. Boca swarm the ref - they want red.
They've got a very dangerous spot for a free-kick.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
The Boca fans are bouncing in great number behind the River Plate goal. Down by them Sebastian Villa wins another free-kick with a nice turn.
Villa swings it too deep again - Carlos Izquierdoz is the target once more - but it is over-hit.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Boca now with their own chance to test with a free-kick. It's deep and central, but the box is loading up.
Sebastian Villa swings it over, it's cleared but only as far as Cristian Pavon, who strikes the ball back into the danger area, River clear behind for a corner, it looks panicky.
From the next set piece, there's a poor header at the far post, way too high.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
A good spell of River possession here, before a driven over-hit through ball strikes Lisandro Magallan and goes out of play for a corner.
It's played short again, zipped low to Ignacio Fernandez who is uncovered on the edge of the box. He leans back too far and shoots over the bar first-time.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Free-kick River Plate. In a very similar position to their first early on.
It's played smart and short, taking the wall out and creating, briefly, an overload on the left wing, but Boca recover well and win themselves a goal kick from a tight spot.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Lisandro Magallan strides out elegantly from the back before booming the ball out of play desperately. Perhaps there's something deeper to be read there.
Fifteen minutes in and Boca are winning on points. We're yet to see River show their best side.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Does Pablo Perez have time to take the ball down on that chance actually? Just seeing a replay it looked a little rushed. Great technique to execute but he might have had more space than he thought.
This feels like a match that could be decided by a set piece or a mistake.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Pablo Perez gets down low to a loose ball from the corner and connects fiercely on the volley but it's straight at the River keeper Franco Armani. A great chance - Boca have started well.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Juniors
Both sides are really deep, there's not much being gambled. For a moment it looks like Cristian Pavon has space down the left wing but he's quickly swamped.
Boca's Lucas Olaza then swings in a low cross that Jonatan Maidana slices just over his own crossbar.
River Plate 0-0 Boca Junioes
Another late challenge and the referee has, again, nothing more than a word with the players involved. Pablo Perez was the one steaming in this time.
A lofted long ball from River runs through to the Boca keeper Esteban Andrada.
