"It is about consistency and maintaining the levels week in, week out. I truly believe in these boys, I hope they believe in themselves."

Barnet's Shaq Coulthirst has scored six times in his past seven FA Cup appearances, including goals in successive games against Championship opponents.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank, speaking to BT Sport: "This was one of the magical moments of the FA Cup, it was a brilliant game for both teams, supporters and neutrals.

"Big credit to Barnet because they did everything they could to create a tough game.

"We had enough chances to kill the game and when you do not take them, we cannot win a game like this. We gave too many soft goals away.

"We definitely did not underestimate them. I don't know what happened but it was way too open."

This is the highest score draw in the FA Cup involving a non-league side and a team from the top two tiers since 1926 - when non-league Weymouth recorded a 4-4 draw away to Reading.

Barnet manager Darren Currie, speaking BT Sport: "I am proud of the players and their performance. We were nearly there with the result.

"Both teams will say they had chances but the buzz around the place when we went in front is memorable.

"The players feel they should have won the game, we went toe-to-toe and every single one of them were excellent."

The 16 FA Cup fourth round ties produced a total of 53 goals, a number of upsets and there's still a non-league club in the competition going into February.

What a cracking weekend.

Barnet's Shaq Coulthirst, speaking to BT Sport: "The fans here were excellent they were screaming all game. It is great we put a display on for them and the manager.

"I knew we had quality players and were confident. Not sure it was a penalty but we will see when we go inside. To be disappointed to draw with a Championship side says it all.

"It will be a difficult game and I am sure we will put on a performance in the replay."

Barnet substitute Dan Sparkes. who scored a spectacular free-kick: "The boys were unbelievable. I came on and helped the team as best I could. What a performance. I am known for a set-piece but they are hard to get right. I did what I could.

"We have strength in depth and are disappointed. They move the ball so well but we stuck in and are gutted we didn't win."

Barnet goalscorer Shaquile Coulthirst has told BBC Radio 5 live that Brentford's Ollie Watkins apologised to them for diving for the penalty which led to the second goal.

A wonderful game of football, it could have been more than 3-3 with both sides having opportunities.

On the night, that is the right result.

Shaquile Coulthirst was a threat all night and he has pace and power, he was a willing runner and kept asking the question and deserved his goal.

On the evidence of what we have seen, you should not see Barnet struggling. Consistency must be the buzzword, if they can play like that every week they should not have a problem.

The free-kick for 3-3 was a wonderful finish.
