The Clarets play it short but Ashley Westwood's cross then drifts over the Palace bar.

He's impressed so far, although this time he runs the ball out for a Burnley goal-kick.

And Burnley make the game's first change, with Johann Berg Gudmundsson having come on for fellow midfielder Jeff Hendrick at the break.

The players are back out at Turf Moor and Palace get the second half started.

Burnley beginning to show their frustration then. And it's Palace forward Wilfried Zaha who has proved the biggest handful for the hosts.

Not sure what happened there but I think there was a late tackle on Michy Batshuayi right on the half-time whistle.

His Palace team-mate Cheikhou Kouyate is not happy and is making that known to James Tarkowski and Ashley Westwood as the players head for the tunnel.

Palace win their first corner down the right wing but it comes to nothing.

Burnley repsond with Phil Bardsley's cross from out on the right being headed well over by Chris Wood.

Wilfried Zaha goes on another pressure-relieving run in the Palace half and a Burnley player hacks at him to concede another free-kick. Kudos to Zaha for staying on his feet too.

Wilfried Zaha draws another foul just inside the Burnley half.

The hosts are starting to get a bit frustrated.

Wilfried Zaha runs at Ben Mee on the right wing before playing it past the defender and trying to run round the other side.

Mee has other ideas, blocking the Palace forward to earn himself the game's first booking.

The free-kick is just too long though and goes out for a goal-kick.

Finally some respite for Palace. Wilfried Zaha gets to the byline but fails to pick out a team-mate with his cut-back.

The Eagles then enjoy some possession at the back.

Charlie Taylor gets down the left and crosses for Jeff Hendrick, whose goalbound volley is blocked by the head of Patrick van Aanholt for a corner.

Dwight McNeil's delivery is too long for Ben Mee at the far post though.

Jeffrey Schlupp plays it forward to Michy Batshuayi but the on-loan striker can't get it under control and gives possession back to Burnley just inside their half. I'd forgotten the on-loan Chelsea man was playing!

Jeff Hendrick makes a run into the Palace box and could maybe have gone down under a challenge by Luka Milivojevic before Aaron Wan-Bissaka clears for a throw.

Burnley are definitely on top now.

Burnley are beginning to put some pressure on Palace now, with a couple of balls into the box before Ashley Westwood hits a low 25-yard strike straight at Wayne Hennessey.

Phil Bardsley's cross is turned behind and Ashley Westwood's delivery to the back post is headed well over by Ben Mee. He just couldn't get over it.

Great move by Burnley as Jeff Hendrick plays it into Ashley Barnes' feet on the edge of the box.

He flicks it into the path of strike partner Chris Wood but his shot is too close to Wayne Hennessey, who saves with his shoulder.
