    HT: Burnley 1-1 Leicester

The windy conditions at Turf Moor today remind me of when I'd play with my mates with a cheap, almost weightless football we'd call a 'fly away'.

Answers on a postcard if you know what I mean. They were great fun to curl in ridiculous free-kicks!

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March 2019

    Burnley 1-1 Leicester

Referee Michael Oliver blows his whistle to draw this first half to a close.

An entertaining half if you're a neutral!

    Burnley 1-1 Leicester

There have been two minutes added on to this first half.

Two extra minutes before these players can get in the dressing room and dry off a bit.

    Burnley 1-1 Leicester

It's so difficult to judge the conditions at Turf Moor today.

Wes Morgan plays a backpass to Leicester keeper Kaspar Schmeichel who tries to clear but ends up conceding a corner.

Burnley squander the chance to put even more pressure on the visitors and Leicester live to fight another day.

    Dwight McNeil

    Game on!

Dwight McNeil gets Burnley back into this game as we tick down towards half-time and the hosts needed that.

He plays a neat one-two in the box with Charlie Taylor before firing a low shot past Leicester goalkeeper Kaspar Schmeichel.

    Burnley 0-1 Leicester

The Burnley fans are getting on their team's backs, now. They are frustrated that they haven't made their extra man count.

Leicester look in control of this game somehow and the tables have well and truly turned.

Meanwhile, Phil Bardsley goes into the book for a heavy challenge on goalscorer James Maddison.

GOAL: Burnley 0-1 Leicesterpublished at 33 mins

    James Maddison

Would you believe it, Leicester are ahead!

James Maddison wins a free-kick after he's brought down by James Tarkowski on the edge of the Burnley box.

Tom Heaton gets a hand to it but Maddison beats the windy conditions to curl it home.In his celebrations, Maddison takes off his shirt and picks up a yellow card.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Credit to Leicester. If you were just tuning into this match I don't think you'd immediately be aware that they're down to 10 men.

Harvey Barnes looks dangerous every time he has the ball and unleashes a powerful shot from an acute angle on the edge of the Burnley box that sails just wide of the mark.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

This wind really is quite something.

Dwight McNeil tries to put in a speculative cross into the Leicester box but it flies into the fans behind the goal instead.

Both sides are finding it difficult so far.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

There's been a few long balls which have gone astray this afternoon, presumably down to the strong winds in Burnley.

In a sense, whichever team opens the scoring might have to play the conditions as much as either having a one-player advantage of disadvantage.

Harvey Barnes tries to use this to his advantage but the Leicester man's long-range drive is deflected away for a corner.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

So how are Leicester doing playing with 10 men for the majority of this match?

Well as it stands they're holding up quite well. James Maddison almost latches on to a loose ball in the Burnley box as they fail to clear a free-kick, but it's blocked away.

As yet, Burnley yet to threaten too much in front of goal, but there's along way to go yet.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Big chance for Burnley to assert themselves in this game as Johann Berg Gudmundsson plays a lovely ball in towards Chris Wood.

The New Zealand international heads just wide of the mark, however.

Meanwhile, credit to ground staff because the pitch looks in decent shape considering the amount of rain that's fallen today.

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Burnley's Phil Bardsley looks unhappy after his chance to put in a ball on the right wing is halted by referee Michael Oliver who blows for a foul after he puts a shove in on Ben Chilwell.

Now the dust has settled following Harry Maguire's early dismissal, I must point out that Leicester had looked dangerous with the ball early on.

Jamie Vardy came agonisingly close to giving them the lead just before the sending off but that's put the brakes on their attack in these early stages.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 6 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

From the free-kick that follows, Johann Berg Gudmundsson hits the post with a curling effort.

Meanwhile, Leicester are forced into their first change of the afternoon as Wes Morgan replaces Demerai Gray.

  16. RED CARD (Harry Maguire)published at 3 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Dear oh dear, this is not a good start for Leicester.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson is played clear through for Burnley on goal and he's brought down by Harry Maguire, who sees red for a professional foul.

Can Burnley make their one-man advantage count?
