It was not only the Internationals break that was going on over the past two weeks, it was also the semi-finals of the FA People's Cup.

From inventive lawnmower celebrations to a back-flick and finish that Messi would have been proud of and guest presenters John Bishop and Adele Roberts, the semi-finals had it all.

  6. Story of the halfpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March 2019

    HT: Brighton 0-0 Southampton

It's been a half of few chances but Southampton have had the better of the opportunities.

Nathan Redmond has produced the only shot on target but Danny Ings should have done better in front of goal.

Brighton have stuttered their way through the half - perhaps they have one eye on Wembley.

    Great chance for Southampton.

Stuart Armstrong plays the ball across the Brighton area and Danny Ings tries to open his body to bend the ball into the far corner.

Yves Bissouma, who has been threatening to change the game, fires wide from outside of the area. Bright opening for the hosts.

    Pass, pass, pass.

Southampton seem content to knock the ball around but they are struggling to create anything of note.

However, the only shot on target so far was Nathan Redmond's stinging effort from the angle.

    Brighton 0-0 Southampton

Glenn Murray has just had a wardrobe malfunction, and with half of the first period played, he decides it's too warm for his under garment.

He takes a moment to remove it before putting his blue and white stripes back on. That's about as entertaining as it's been

    As you were.

Southampton are just starting to enjoy a period of sustained possession and James Ward-Prowse is at the heart of it.

    Better by the visitors.
