Hamilton manager Brian Rice: "I’ve picked a team that I hope competes with Aberdeen and take the chances when they come along.

"Let’s not get carried away by the Rangers game [5-0 defeat last weekend], every team in Scotland has been turned over by the Old Firm at some stage, we are no exception.

Hearts manager Craig Levein tells BBC Sportsound: "We desperately want to win the game. The fact that Neil's there doesn't make us any more desperate. There were rumours that Brendan was trying to leave at the beginning of the season and they died down. I can only assume with Brendan leaving Celtic went for a safe pair of hands.

  4. Can Hearts end Celtic trend?published at 19:18

Heart of Midlothian v Celtic (19:45)

Fifth-top Hearts started the season with a 1-0 win over Celtic at Tynecastle, but they have since lost twice to tonight's visitors, conceding eight goals in the process without finding the net.

Indeed, Hearts have only lost one of their last eight home games.

However, they face a side who will be out to impress returning manager Neil Lennon and having won their last seven Premiership games by an aggregate score of 18-1.

I think Celtic and Peter Lawwell were very lucky that Lennon was available. Because if he wasn't, who would they have turned to in quick order? Who knew the club? Who has won in Scotland? Who could handle the pressure? Who was prepared to take it on? It was a big ask. They got Lennon in straight away. They've won a watch there.

A 2-0 win away to St Johnstone last time out meant third-placed Aberdeen equalled a club record of seven successive victories on the road.

It has been a different story at home in recent times. They’ve gone four Premiership games without a win at Pittodrie.

The Dons are hoping to end that run tonight to keep up the pressure on Rangers in second and set them up nicely for Sunday’s Granite City Scottish Cup showdown with the Ibrox side.
