There isn't much for England to be grateful for after their World Cup exit last night, but whoever they play on Saturday in the third-place play-off will have had a day less to prepare and come into it off the back of 120 mins (maybe penalties) in a very muggy Lyon.

Perhaps the best players on the pitch are the goalkeepers. Sari van Veenendaal just got a finger on that Nilla Fischer shot, sprawled out. That was going in.

I am so happy to see Hedvig Lindahl have the tournament she's been having. She wants to be the best goalkeeper in the world. I want to see her get the respect she deserves because she makes save after save after save.

Do you think either of these teams can beat the USA? There's a serious lack of ruthlessness on show.

It is the right result, no team deserved to win that.

No lack of effort but it has not been up to the standard of what I have seen from them in the tournament.

It's a great save, although it's straight at her. She kept her eye on the ball and did so well to flick it away.

It's flicked into the path of Shanice van de Sanden on the right and the substitute lets fly. She catches it nicely and it's heading towards the far corner until Hedvig Lindahl tips it wide.

The build-up from the Netherlands is excellent but the final ball is poor.

It's one-touch, flicks and runs around from the Dutch before Vivianne Miedema's pass through to Jill Roord is too heavy.

Nilla Fischer does brilliantly to slide across and make the tackle before Danielle van de Donk's shot sails past the left post.
