Unreal conditions out there. You can't even predict which way the wind is blowing because the rain is changing direction.

There are puddles around the edge of the pitch now as the surface struggles to deal with downpour.

The home fans haven't stopped roaring for about five minutes. This atmosphere is quite something.

Brighton's Beram Kayal tests David Martin with a low shot but the Millwall keeper gets down to save.

The game is being played under lights now and the wind has picked up. You can see one goal winning the tie.

Hail is now bouncing down. This weather is rancid.

Does that help the Championship side? These are not ideal conditions for football.

There was a lack of communication there by the Brighton defenders, but the wind blew it back into Mat Ryan's path. You can hear the crowd really playing on that now and the atmosphere is brilliant.

This is turning into something from a movie. It's suddenly got very dark and the wind has picked up. The home fans raise the noise levels again.

They feel like something could be on the horizon.

Every time a goalkeeper and defender get together like that, nothing good comes of it. Brighton got away with one there.

Almost a disaster!

Brighton make a right mess of a long ball and goalkeeper Mat Ryan ends up kicking the ball into Shane Duffy's back. The ball then spins back towards the goal and Ryan has to scamper back to collect before the goal line.

The Brighton fans yell for a penalty as Glenn Murray goes down off the ball. It looked like he just ran into Mahlon Romeo.

The Brighton players are out well before the Millwall players for this second half. The home side are making their Premier League opponents wait.

Eventually we get back underway.

It has to improve in the second half. Brighton have caused problems when they have got the ball into the box early. They will get joy if they continue to do that.

Remember if we don't get a goal in this second half then it'll be extra time and potentially penalties.

We're being shown more replays of that penalty shout for Brighton at half-time. Cooper makes absolutely no attempt to challenge for the ball. Instead he just pulls back Shane Duffy's arm to prevent the Brighton player getting a clean header on the ball.

If we had VAR then I am sure that would have been a penalty.

We don't and it's not.

It's been a really good cup tie. Millwall are playing on the front foot and attacking with numbers. They are defending really well but Brighton have responded well. They'll be glad to see it reach half time at 0-0.

Brighton should have had a penalty and Kayal had the best opportunity, when he should have scored.

I think it was a penalty, you cannot be doing that in the box, Cooper was out of position and was pulling Duffy's arm.

And that is half time.

It hasn't been a thriller but is tight, edgy and scrappy.
