A long way to go yet but if the situation stays as it is, Leicester will be notching up their fourth straight win.

That would be only the second time they have done that since the end of their magnificent 2015-16 Premier League title-winning season.

If they keep that up, Brendan Rodgers could be leading the Foxes back into Europe.

Leicester lead at the interval, but they probably should've added to their tally after Youri Tieleman's 24th minute strike.

He had team-mates available to him, but Demarai Gray goes alone and is denied by Ben Hamer who has been a very busy man in this first half.

Audacious!

Leicester goalscorer Youri Tielemans stands over a free-kick at a significant distance away from goal, but that doesn't deter the youngster from shooting low at Ben Hamer's goal.

Hamer is equal to it this time, though.

Moments later, Ben Chilwell rushes into the Huddersfield penalty area and fires a shot narrowly over the crossbar.

It's all Leicester again!

It's all slowed down now, with Leicester knocking the ball around without really trying to go anywhere.

These last few moments have had a last game of the season vibe.

Huddersfield earn back-to-back corner kicks, but can't make either set-piece count as they seek an equaliser before half-time.

Interesting one!

Wes Morgan loses possession and the ball falls to Alex Pritchard with Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel well off his line.

Pritchard attempts the lob, which appears to be heading wide, but the back-tracking Caglar Soyuncu makes sure by heading it out of play.

This game has really come to life now, and Huddersfield appear eager to get themselves level.

The Terriers build a bit of pressure on the Leicester penalty area before forcing a corner that ultimately comes to nothing.

They're not going to give up.

Huddersfield keeper Ben Hamer didn't exactly cover himself in glory.

Youri Tielemans went high, but the ball only entered the net about half way up the Huddersfield goal. Hamer went low as the shot came in, so had no chance of stopping it.

He seemed to be telling his defenders afterwards that he didn't see the flight of the ball as it came through a crowd of bodies.

Leicester well on top here.

It's all Leicester now, and Huddersfield are in danger of conceding an immediate second.

Jamie Vardy is denied before Demarai Gray then goes close for the Foxes, who earn themselves another corner, but this time Huddersfield are able to deal with it.

Harvey Barnes fires a low shot and Terriers goalkeeper Ben Hamer does enough to prevent it reaching James Maddison for the game's opening goal.

Better from Leicester who haven't offered much so far.

There is a decent atmosphere at the John Smiths Stadium.

The Leicester fans started singing about winning the title, the Huddersfield fans responded by singing 'we've won it three times'. Leicester's reply? "You weren't even born."

That is probably correct. The last time was 93 years ago, in 1926.

The stats show a confident start by Jan Siewart's side against Leicester possession-wise.

The Terriers look nice and relaxed on the ball, with Leicester, poised to spring a counter-attack if allowed the opportunity, happy to sit-back.

This has previously been quite the one-sided contest, in league competition at least.

Huddersfield have lost nine of their last 10 league games against Leicester, drawing the other and conceding a total of 28 goals.

In fact, Leicester have managed to score in all but one of the last 21 league meetings.

None so far today, though...

It's the home side who have edged the initial exchanges at the John Smiths Stadium, though neither side has created any real chance so far.

The Terriers earn a free-kick midway inside the Leicester half as Karlan Grant is brought down by Leicester captain Wes Morgan.

It's been a pretty disastrous season for Huddersfield.

So, it will come as no surprise to learn they are on the brink of an unwanted record.

The lowest number of home goals in a season is 10, by Manchester City in 2006-07.

Huddersfield are on seven with three games to go - today, Watford and Manchester United.

I'm not confident they will get into double figures.

Both sides are batting for control of the ball in the opening stages.

Terence Kongolo plays a nice ball over the top for Jon Gorenc Stankovic but Leicester eventually clear their lines.
