    Southampton v Wolves (15:00 BST)

Following last week's defeat to Liverpool, there are two changes to the Southampton side.

Forward Danny Ings returns to the line-up having been ineligible to play against parent club Liverpool last week. Josh Sims also comes into the XI for his first league start, while Shane Long and Oriol Romeu miss out.

Southampton XI: Gunn, Bednarek, Yoshida, Vestergaard, Valery, Ward-Prowse, Hojbjerg, Bertrand, Sims, Redmond, Ings.

Subs: McCarthy, Stephens, Long, Austin, Romeu, Armstrong, Targett.

Nuno Espirito Santo has made one change to the Wolves side that suffered that FA Cup semi-final defeat at Wembley.

Goalkeeper Rui Patricio, having been replaced by John Ruddy, returns. Centre-back Romain Saiss retains his place.

Wolves XI: Rui Patricio, Saiss, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny, Jimenez, Jota.

Subs: Bennett, Ivan Cavaleiro, Helder Costa, Gibbs-White, John Ruddy, Ruben Vinagre, Traore.

  4. Saints alive?published at 14:40 British Summer Time 13 April 2019

    Southampton v Wolves (15:00 BST)

    35?

    36?

    37?

Nope, not guessing the age of Eddie Howe (he's 41) but the number of points needed for survival.

Newcastle are now pretty much safe after their win at Leicester, and Burnley with 36 points are pretty much there too.

So it's really Brighton, with a game in hand on Cardiff, and the Saints whose situation remains a touch precarious.

A win today would be just the tonic for manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Are Wolves still licking their wounds after last week's FA Cup defeat? Very much defeat grabbed from the jaws of victory. Or something.

If they finish seventh it would be the best finish by a newly promoted team since Ipswich came home fifth in the 2000-01 season.

And there's the bonus of a possible Europa League spot - of course, the downside of that is that it would cut short the squad's summer holidays.

All about city breaks these days guys.
