Owain Evans: If Burnley are the footballing dementors that must make Spurs the Neville Longbottom of football; always hang around but nobody will ever take them seriously as a threat and will always be an afterthought at the end.

Jake Saunders: Arsenal are Ron Weasley. Make a lot of noise, overrated, is red.

Joe Jay De Haas: Harry Potter clubs: Fulham are Scabbers. Our return has been nothing short of pathetic.

Chris W: Liverpool as the Slytherin Quidditch team...no-one wants them to win!!

It is a perfect day for football, so it has been surprising to see so many passes go astray from Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s men are looking a little nervous. The City boss is stood in the shadow on the far side of the pitch for me. He has his arms crossed and a face that suggests he is not too happy.

Aguero! Ilkay Gundogan floats a pass over the top of the Burnley defence, looking for Sergio Aguero to run on. From about six yards, the Argentine stretches, swings a leg, but can't connect. Cue ironic cheers from the home faithful.

Briefly, it's quiet enough to hear the shouts of the players. The noise that does then come from the crowd sounds like it may be of a City nature. The men in blue are in the Burnley half and, when they get to the byeline and pull it back for David Silva, his shot hits a claret shirt. Knocking just a little harder.

Man City are trying to keep it calm. They know they have to win today, but Pep Guardiola will be much happier with City's quicker passing just then.

City's first proper opening. Just when the visitors were looking a little nervy, Raheem Sterling finds space in the centre and feeds Bernardo Silva on the right. Bernardo waits, maybe a little too long, and eventually shoots at Tom Heaton.

Scratch that, Walker is fine. The headline is, though, Burnley have had the best chance in the opening quarter of this game.

Now then. Chris Wood could have done better here. Clean through, a bad touch allows Ederson to get off his line and smother the ball. The keeper actually did very well. In the mean time, Kyle Walker has gone down, possibly because of a slip. He looks in trouble...

Burnley fans want a penalty when Jack Cork slams the ball into Vincent Kompany from close range. On first look, it seems it's hit the arm, albeit from too close to give a pen. Replays actually reveal it's hit Kompany square in the mush.

    Leicester 3-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Unai Emery to BBC Sport: "We worked, we prepared our game plan, 11 v 11 the match was going like we prepared.

"For me the first yellow card for [Maitland-Niles] is not for me, it has affected our game plan a lot. One player less is difficult.

"Today the condition [for losing] is the red card.

"We will continue, we will not look at the table, the Europa League is a big motivation for us to win it."

    Leicester 3-0 Arsenal

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to Sky Sports: "Firstly our defence was nice and aggressive and we pressed the game really well. When it was 11 v 11 I thought we were the better team. There were areas we could be better in but the energy, pressing, quailty and three outstanding goals. I'm very pleased we got our reward for our hard work."

On Ainsley Maitland Niles' red card: "I thought it was good decision, it was an accumulation of fouls, Ben Chilwell stayed on his feet earlier which had saved him and that was a second foul so it's a good decision."

On Leicester's progress under him: "I think its just time. We'll get a lot better but we're a team getting used to having the ball now. the team had been about counter attacks but we want to add on to that and have that quality and be comfortable in possession of the ball. We scored three and could have had more, its a big credit to the team and their work."

The Burnley and Manchester City fans are in good voice in the early stages. The majority of the chants have been “Come on Burnley” and “Come on City” so far, but I am sure the chants (and maybe the language) will develop as the afternoon goes on.

It's to Burnley's credit that they haven't been outclassed in these opening stages. They have kept City at arm's length and occasionally undergone expeditions of their own. Not much in it, so far. Good atmos, though.
