I am surprised that Pep Guardiola is trying to stay sat down on the bench in these final few minutes. I think the truth is he does not know what to do with himself. He is up again now patrolling the edge of his technical area. He is desperate for a second goal.

City have slowed things down. Keep-ball in the centre of the park. On at least two occasions, men in blue have simply stopped and put their foot on the ball. Burnley are looking leggy.

The return of Eric Bailly is a bit random.

The Ivorian has not started a Premier League game for Manchester United since the win at Leicester on 3 February, which in itself was only his second league start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - he got sent off against Bournemouth in the first.

It looks like Solskjaer is going with a diamond formation to try and release Paul Pogba into attacking areas.

We're going to see more of these Man City breaks. Burnley have to have a little bit of a go now.

It's not out of the possibility. You can sense it. Burnley just need one little half chance to score in this game.

Ben Mee! Incredible block on the line when it seemed like City had two. Kyle Walker's crossfield ball, Gabriel Jesus's wonderful touch to cut inside, around Tom Heaton, but Mee somehow getting back to clear.

Could have been two. Kyle Walker, fire in his heels, turns on the gas to get to the byeline and squares for Sergio Aguero, who gets his feet in a tangle in the six-yard box. City are continuing to play in the Burnley half. More chance of them getting a second than the hosts an equaliser.

Interesting to see what this does to the way Burnley will play.

Will they come at City more? And will that now allow City more space in behind?

City are in a good place now, dominating the chances and possession. They aren't getting the best out of their players right now but does that matter at this stage of the season? No.

You expect Burnley to make a couple of chances, maybe on the break or from a set-piece.

    Sergio Aguero

    Relief for Manchester City!

Sergio Aguero, the man who has won the title for them in the past, finally gets the ball past Tom Heaton.

He has his back to goal, scrapes a turn past the defender on his shoulder and shoots with his left foot. With Heaton beaten, Matt Lowton is on the line. The ball hits his chest and is then cleared. In the meantime, though, it's gone over the line and technology gives it.

Aguero mirrors every City fan when he puffs out his cheeks.
