    The EFL takes centre stage today, sandwiched beautifully between the thrilling European action from midweek and Saturday's intriguing Premier League fixtures.

    And then we do it all again in the EFL on Monday. By close of play then things will be looking a lot clearer in all three divisions.

    Also, we're going to try to keep the chocolate references down to a minimum today. Plenty of time for that chat after the serious business of football promotion and relegation issues.
