  3. Potter the right mould for Celtic?published at 13:21 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

If Neil Lennon relaxed ahead of today's semi-final by opening the Sunday papers, he would have been greeted with the suggestion that Swansea City's Graham Potter is the latest to be linked with the Celtic manager's job.

The 43-year-old who tasted some European success with Ostersund joins a long list that also includes Rafa Benitez, Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Martinez.

At least that's what's being said, along with much more, in today's Scottish Gossip...

  4. Doesn't matter who we face - Leveinpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

Hearts manager Craig Levein was under pressure ahead of yesterday's semi-final thanks to his side's recent indifferent form and Edinburgh derby defeat last weekend but is now within touching distance of his first silverware as a player or manager.

He'll no doubt be an interested spectator this afternoon, but asked who he wants to face in the final, told BBC Scotland: "I've no idea who is going to win and it doesn't really matter for us."

  5. Pressure mounting - Lennonpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

Interim Celtic manager Neil Lennon is pretty relaxed about the pressure mounting on himself and his players as they approach a historic milestone.

"They have done a double Treble," he said. "Can they do a treble Treble? They have four games to do that and it won't easy - the closer you get, the more difficult it becomes.

"But they've handled that pretty well."

  6. Campbell & May start for Donspublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

Aberdeen also make two changes, with 18-year-old midfielder Dean Campbell and striker Stevie May starting in place of suspended captain Graeme Shinnie and injured former Celtic forward Niall McGinn.

Campbell has recovered from the foot injury he picked up against Motherwell last week to make only his third start - and ninth appearance - for Derek McInnes' side.

  7. Lustig & Hayes in for Celticpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

Celtic make two changes following the 0-0 draw with Livingston last weekend, with Mikael Lustig returning to the defence in place of the benched Filip Benkovic, while former Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes takes over from Tom Rogic in midfield.

Kieran Tierney continues at left-back amid Sunday newspaper reports he will have to miss Scotland's June matches against Cyprus and Belgium to rest up and recover from a pelvic problem.

  8. 'Every game an audition' for Lennonpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Aberdeen v Celtic (14:00)

Today's Scottish Cup semi-final is being billed as yet another part of Neil Lennon's selection process as he bids to become Celtic manager on a permanent basis.

Lose and the treble Treble of domestic silverware that seemed Brendan Rodgers' destiny before Lennon's fellow Northern Irishman switched to Leicester City will be gone.

With it might also go the interim manager's chances of staying in the job, suggests BBC Scotland's chief sports writer, Tom English.

"Lennon is mad keen on the job, but it's fair to say that supporters, in general, are a little torn," he suggests.

"If not Lennon, then who? That's not an easy question to answer. Lennon's job on Sunday, and beyond, is to keep on winning thereby reducing the number of people asking it."

'Lennon wants the job and Celtic want him... but it's not as simple as that'

With "every game an audition", does Neil Lennon need to beat Aberdeen in Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final en route to securing a Treble Treble to stay on at Celtic?
