It's Jamie Vardy at his best. Ball over the top, Vardy on to it - one bounce, good touch, away he goes and lobs it over the keeper.

What do they about being at your most vulnerable...

Ryan Fraser finds England striker Callum Wilson, who gets behind the Foxes backline and slots an angled shot past Kasper Schmeichel.

    Jamie Vardy

Don't miss Match of the Day.

Quite simply outstanding from Jamie Vardy - it was a strike straight out of the Premier League-title winning campaign.

A long ball from Ben Chilwell finds the ex-England man, who gets in between then in front of two Bournemouth defenders before lifting his strike, first time, over the head of the advancing Aaron Ramsdale.

    A stunning, stunning effort.

    Leicester 0-0 Bournemouth

A hugely crucial headed interception by Bournemouth in the six-yard area.

Had Caglar Soyuncu's dinked ball found Jonny Evans's head then surely that would have been 1-0.

Tremendous atmosphere here, the home fans are making a heck of a racket helped by their hand-clappers.

    Leicester 0-0 Bournemouth

Right-back Adam Smith eases past three challenges and into the area before Caglar Soyuncu makes a very well-timed block to prevent the Cherries player from squaring the ball.

    Vital.

    Leicester 0-0 Bournemouth

Marc Albrighton has a great chance to play Harvey Barnes on the flank, but Bournemouth block in the nick of time.

Great pace on the attack shown by both sides in these early stages.

A mention for Peter Bankes who, commentator Robyn Cowen reminds me, is making his PL debut.

Spinetingling montage of Leicester's most famous goals over the years was played on the big screen before kick-off.

Gary Lineker, Matt Elliott, Tony Cottee and Riyad Mahrez all involved, with the video culminating in Wes Morgan and Claudio Ranieri lifting the Premier League trophy.

They'll never forget it, what an achievement that was.

James Maddison seems to have the perfect recipe around him.

With the way Brendan Rodgers wants to play football and with Jamie Vardy in the squad, he is going to get better and better.

He is quick in mind and with someone like Vardy running off him, he will find him all day long.

  14. 'Wilson could be the key'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 31 August 2019

    Robyn Cowen

Expectations remain high for Leicester this season, with Brendan Rodgers' side tipped to be the ones to break into the top six.

Their unbeaten start has increased belief and in James Maddison they have a genuine game-changer: no player has created more chances in the Premier League since the start of last season.

As for Bournemouth, one win from their opening three league games suggests they could be in for another inconsistent campaign, but they themselves have a midfielder capable of conjuring up something special in Harry Wilson.

He's scored in both of his Premier League appearances so far, and he could be the key if the Cherries are to win at Leicester for the first time since 1988.

Fresh from signing a new contract with the club on Friday, Leicester midfielder Hamza Choudhury is today's cover star on the matchday programme.

In the absence of Wilfred Ndidi, the England U21 international has started all three league games for the Foxes this season...and predictably is on the bench today.

"We all know there is still more to come because we have a squad full of so many talented players," he says.

"Brendan Rodgers rewards players on merit and how you perform in training so for me it is simply about working as hard as possible."

Scored an absolute worldie against the Blades last week.

The loan moves seem to have helped nurture the midfielder into the type the Foxes hoped he would be.

    Leicester v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell is in the XI after sitting out the last three league and cup matches with a hip injury.

There is no room in the starting line-up for midfielder Hamza Choudhury, who was criticised by Newcastle manager Steve Bruce for a tackle on Matt Ritchie in the midweek League Cup match. Wilfred Ndidi replaces him.

Christian Fuchs, Dennis Praet and Ayoze Perez also drop to the bench having started in the game against Sheffield United last week, with Marc Albrighton and Harvey Barnes, who scored a great goal against the Blades, in the line-up.

Leicester: Schmeichel, Ricardo Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Albrighton, Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy.

Subs: Justin, Gray, Ward, Perez, Choudhury, Praet, Fuchs

Bournemouth's Harry Wilson comes in for Charlie Daniels, which is the only change from the XI that started in the 3-1 home defeat by Manchester City last week.

Bournemouth: Ramsdale, Mepham, Steve Cook, Ake, Smith, Harry Wilson, Billing, Lerma, Fraser, King, Callum Wilson.

Subs: Boruc, Surman, Solanke, Ibe, Stacey, Rico, Simpson.
