They flick it around the back with one-touch passing and open up space down the right. It comes to Erik Lamela on the edge of the box and he slips it left to Danny Rose.

The full-back's cross is cut-out though.

Jamie Vardy is still doing what he does best. He runs so far on the pitch and there is nothing Tottenham can do about it. Jan Vertonghen has not looked terribly comfortable so far.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are very casual on the ball and Jamie Vardy senses an opportunity to get at them.

He hassles and hassles until Vertonghen goes down and Spurs win a free-kick.

England boss Gareth Southgate is at the King Power. He's got a busy weekend, having been at Southampton's game with Bournemouth last night.

Danny Rose is one of several players hoping to catch his eye.

The corner from the left whips across the six-yard box and skims past Jonny Evans. Danny Rose will take a throw-in on the far side.

Moussa Sissoko sprays a nice pass inside to Harry Winks, who tries to link-up with Tanguy Ndombele.

There's very little space for Spurs' attackers to work with and the move breaks down. Leicester go straight up the other end and win a corner.

Danny Rose' free-kick doesn't beat the wall and Harry Winks' header is straight back at Youri Tielemans.

He tries to feed Harvey Barnes in quickly but there's too much on the pass.

Spurs have got a very high line and I am not sure if that is the brightest thing to do against Leicester. It has been very lively in these opening few minutes.

Harry Kane tests Kasper Schmeichel with a long range strike but it's straight at the keeper and a comfortable save in the end.

Spurs take a quick free-kick and Erik Lamela slips it right to Son Heung-min in the box. The striker drags his shot wide of the far post.

I worry a bit about Tottenham at the moment and what could go on with Mauricio Pochettino.

He's seemed a bit unsettled and there's a certain manager at Real Madrid who has not been having a particularly good time.

If he was to go, I could see them coming in for Pochettino.

Harvey Barnes looks to break quickly and get in behind the Spurs defence. He sets off a little early though and the flag goes up.

A few moments later, Barnes links up with James Maddison but the return pass is too far in front of him in the box. Good start from the hosts!

Football Focus

Jamie Vardy has scored 31 goals against the Premier League's top six, more than anyone else since 2014 but it's just another game for Leicester's top scorer.

"I don’t approach playing Spurs any differently to usual," he told Football Focus. "I want to be aggressive, pressure the defenders and try and win the ball as high up the pitch as possible.

"I want to get us on the attack so we can get the three points."
