Sonja: they played the Montenegro anthem!!! The speaker just made another mistake apologising but saying Armenia! Ridiculous! Wondered why they weren’t singing! Double embarrassment!!!

France v Albania (a bit later than 19:45 BST...)

There's been a suggestion the wrong anthem was played for Albania and they had to wait for the proper one to be sorted. No confirmation of that though.

But we've had the anthems now. I presume that was the right one as Albania sang along.

    Serbia 0-0 Portugal

Early chance for Serbia, but Dusan Tadic's shot is straight at Rui Patricio.

Spanish referee Jesus Gil Manzano is chatting to both sets of managers in the Stade de France. France fans are making plenty of noise.

    Under way in Belgrade.

Not sure what's happening in Paris but looks like kick-off might be a couple of minutes late. The referee keeps going off to check something.

  11. 'I want to see 11 lions'published at 19:44 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    France v Albania (19:45 BST)

Albania coach Edoardo Reja: “For us the main thing is not to make mistakes and to leave as little space as possible.

"We’ll try to play on the counter and not stay back 100% of the time. I want to see 11 lions on the pitch.“

  12. 'Serbia have very good players'published at 19:43 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    Serbia v Portugal (19:45 BST)

Portugal's Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves: "I would not say [these games are] urgent. We know there are two very important matches for us.

"And as we do in any other match we are going to play them to win. We know everything still depends on us and that if we play at our best we will be able to win the two matches.

"We all know Serbia. We are aware of their skills and their quality as they have already proved. They have very good players but we are a good squad too and we are going to give our best, focused on getting the three points at a pitch we know is difficult."

  13. 'We are lucky to have a huge pool'published at 19:43 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    France v Albania (19:45 BST)

France midfielder Blaise Matuidi says they cannot look for excuses despite several injuries.

Premier League players Aymeric Laporte, Paul Pogba, Tanguy Ndombele and N'Golo Kante are all out - as is PSG wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.

"There are many injured players, it is not a very good period, but that does not have to be an excuse," Matuidi said.

"We are lucky to have a huge pool, with a lot of high-quality players. There are important players who are absent but there are others who are here who have proved for their club that they can bring a lot.

"The 23 players who are here have to be competitive and we have to win both games. Playing against Albania is never easy either. We will do everything to win."

  14. 'We need to keep hold of it'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    France v Albania (19:45 BST)

France coach Didier Deschamps: “We’re in the best position in the group and we need to keep hold of it.

"After beating us the Turks then lost in Iceland. Before thinking about October’s games we need to think about taking the three points against Albania and then again on Tuesday against Andorra.“

  15. 'We can try to get at least a draw'published at 19:39 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    France v Albania (19:45 BST)

Albania's Malaga midfielder Keidi Bare: "I believe everything, because in football you can achieve everything, no matter who plays.

"However we must give our best and hope to get something. France are a very strong team, but we can try to get at least a draw."

    France v Albania (19:45 BST)

Several injuries for France, but this is still a good team with stars across the pitch. Four Bayern Munich players start - Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez, Corentin Tolisso and Kingsley Coman. Antoine Griezmann and Olivier Giroud are also in the team.

No household names in the Albania team, although Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj is a good player.

France: Lloris, Pavard, Varane, Lenglet, Lucas, Coman, Tolisso, Matuidi, Lemar, Griezmann, Giroud. Subs: Fekir, Areola, Digne, Nzonzi, Maignan, Sissoko, Zouma, Umtiti, Dubois, Ben Yedder, Guendouzi, Ikone.

Albania: Strakosha, Ismajli, Djimsiti, Mavraj, Hysaj, Ramadani, Abrashi, Roshi, Bare, Uzuni, Balaj. Subs: Berisha, Freddie Veseli, Manaj, Qose, Kumbulla, Hoxha, Cikalleshi, Dermaku, Lenjani, Binaku, Xhaka, Gjasula.

    Turkey v Andorra (19:45 BST)

Two Premier League players in the Turkey team, Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu and Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

It's a 124th cap for Andorra captain Ildefons Lima, who I'm going to assume is a national legend with 10 goals.

Turkey: Gunok, Mahmet Celik, Demiral, Soyuncu, Meras, Kahveci, Emre, Yazici, Yalcin, Calhanoglu, Tosun. Subs: Bolat, Turuc, Cakir, Karaman, Karaca, Unal, Tufan, Tokoz, Ayhan, Malli, Kilinc, Parmak.

Andorra: Gomes, San Nicolas, Llovera, Lima, Cervos, Rodriguez Soria, Rebes, Vales, Clemente, Cristian Martinez, Vieira. Subs: Jordi Rubio, Emili Garcia, Ferre, Moreno, Gomez, Marc Garcia, Alexandre Martinez, Sanchez, Pires, Alaez.

    Serbia v Portugal (19:45 BST)

Cristiano Ronaldo captains Portugal for his 158th cap (88 goals), with Joao Felix on the bench.

Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva and Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio are the Premier League contingent in the team. Three Wolves players are on the bench.

It's not every day you see this, a Championship striker selected over a Real Madrid player. Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic starts up front for Serbia, with Luka Jovic on the bench.

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic starts, as does Ajax phenomenon Dusan Tadic.

  20. The state of Group Dpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 7 September 2019

    Serbia v Portugal (19:45 BST)

Portugal are yet to win a game in Group B, drawing both matches - at home to Serbia and Ukraine in March.

They have not played a qualifier since then because of the Nations League finals - which they won - in June.

Ukraine beat Lithuania 3-0 earlier today to move well clear at the top, although they've played more games than anyone else.

    Luxembourg in a qualifying position!
