  1. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Southampton lose the ball in the middle and Wolves counter.

Raul Jimenez appears to have been taken down in the box and there are shouts for a penalty, but the referee awards a free-kick. Jimenez argues the ball came off the defender's foot but it's not going his way.

    Again.

  2. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

An early chance for Danny Ings after Jesus Vallejo gave the ball away cheaply on the edge of the box. Ings picks it up and goes to curl it into the bottom corner but it's an easy take for Rui Patricio.

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Pretty even at Molineux so far.

Chances for both sides but apart from the disallowed goals, little to threaten.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+6 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

    There's the whistle.

Three yellow cards + two disallowed goals = an interesting first half.

  7. Postpublished at 45+5 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

With the first half still ongoing, Nathan Redmond goes close for Southampton, firing a half volley into the side netting.

The whistle surely on its way?

  8. Postpublished at 45+2 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

The free-kick comes to nothing but the volume has certainly gone up a few notches since that goal was ruled out.

Half-time is needed to cool things down a touch.

  9. YELLOW CARD - Conor Coadypublished at 45+1 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Tempers are starting to fray at Molineux.

Conor Coady goes into the book as he brings down Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Southampton get a free-kick in a promising position.

  10. VAR

Goal ruled outpublished at 43 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Patrick Cutrone has been ruled offside as he received the ball in the box from Leander Dendoncker. Not by much, it has to be said.

    VAR 2-0 Wolves...

    Wolves 1-0 Southampton

    Hold up. VAR isn't happy...

  12. goal

GOAL Wolves 1-0 Southamptonpublished at 42 mins

    Raul Jimenez

    That one counts!

Wolves make the most of some sloppy Saints play in the middle as Jimenez brings the ball towards goal. Patrick Cutrone pokes it towards goal, Angus Gunn saves his effort but can only push it into the path of Jimenez, who smashes it home.

  13. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Nathan Redmond picks the ball up and ambles towards the box. He's looking to take a shot himself but he can't find the gap.

He does find Ryan Bertrand who then feeds in Danny Ings but he can't make it count. Shouts of handball from the crowd towards Ings but it's a goal kick.

  14. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Ruben Neves is back on the pitch.

  15. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Ruben Neves has been caught by Danny Ings in the middle of the park as he tried to peel away, right down the back of the ankle. From experience, I can confirm those ones hurt.

A bit of treatment required for Neves before he clambers back onto his feet. He'll go off for a couple of minutes for a bit more treatment so Wolves temporarily down to 10 men.

  16. Postpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 19 October 2019

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

The ball that fed in Jimenez for that disallowed goal?

It came off the boot of Willy Boly from pretty much inside Wolves' box.

  17. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 29 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

At the other end, Raul Jimenez finds himself clear in front of goal, he chests the ball past Angus Gunn and finishes into an empty net.

But was that handball from the Wolves man? VAR says yes.

Maybe a bit harsh, but Jimenez goes into the book.

  18. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg punches the air in frustration as he scuppers a decent chance to put Southampton ahead.

Danny Ings receives the ball just inside the area, feeds it through to his captain but Hojbjerg sends it flying into row z.

    Should have done better...

  19. Postpublished at 26 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Patrick Cutrone is caught by Jan Bednarek on the wing and Wolves earn a free-kick wide out on the left.

Joao Moutinho hovers over this one, he floats the ball in but it's headed away on the edge of the box.

  20. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Wolves 0-0 Southampton

Ward-Prowse sends it in and there's a bit of pinball in the box as someone, ANYONE, tries to get a solid touch of the ball.

Comes to nothing as Wolves clear their lines.
