He may be the Wales captain, but that does not save Bristol City's Ashley Williams from jeers as he gets a first touch of the ball.

Williams will be cheered on this ground if he plays when Wales face Hungary in the upcoming international break, but has been booed by the home fans this afternoon thanks to his Swansea City connections.

The veteran centre-back is a Swans legend, having starred for the club during their stint in the Premier League.

Cardiff v Bristol City (12:00 GMT)

Now it is established in football lore that Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock does not get on with Gary Johnson, a former Bristol City manager who just so happens to be the father of current Robins boss Lee Johnson.

Warnock has said that he has "genuine bad blood," with Johnson Sr.

However, the narrative of a family feud has been dampened this week with Lee Johnson saying "unpopular opinion, but I quite like Neil Warnock," at his pre-match press conference, before expressing admiration for Warnock's career.

The feud could be over... although the next 90 minutes might change that!

It's a cold one in the Welsh capital, but then Cardiff City have done a good job of warming their fans' hearts on home soil this season.

The Bluebirds are one of only three clubs who are yet to lose a Championship fixture on their own patch in 2019-20, having taken 17 points from seven games to date.

Can they keep that record going today against a Bristol City side who are four points and six places better off than their hosts?

It will not be an easy challenge, for the Robins have lost only once in the league since the opening day of the season.

  15. Can another Robins boss rock Warnock?published at 11:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2019
