Jeff Hendrick then takes a chance to shoot from distance, and a lucky deflection off Cresswell sees the venom go off the shot and straight at Jimenez.

It's all Burnley, with Hendrick's low pass cutting through the West Ham back line but it's just too strong and Chris Wood can't reach it as the ball rolls into Jimenez's path.

Burnley keep pressing, especially on the left, with Charlie Taylor feeding Dwight McNeil in the corner.

He gets a brilliant cross away from a tight situation, and Aaron Cresswell just manages to nod it away with Jeff Hendrick zeroing in on the ball.

Noble's day is done following his tangle with Barnes, and he is replaced by Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Hammers' day has not started well, has it?

At the start of the season, things were going well and we're thinking we're finally seeing a different West Ham, one with grit and determination to get results.

Then they went away to a lower league side in the cup and got tonked 4-0, and it put their four Premier League clean sheets behind them and changed the momentum.

They've improved as a team but those different expectations are starting to hinder them.

West Ham shake that scare off and go on the attack, with Pablo Fornals crossing from the left and Sebastian Haller just short of a header from inside the box.
