It's been a long, long time since Ipswich Town have played in the first round of the FA Cup.

It's a tie that was set up following their relegation from the Championship last term, with the League One leaders entering at a stage they might not be accustomed to.

The last time they played this early was in the 1956-57 season. Today they face fellow third tier side Lincoln City for a chance at the second round.

Sunderland have really gone into another gear in the last five minutes.

Duncan Watmore replaces Chris Maguire for the hosts.

So very nearly for Sunderland.

Substitute Marc McNulty twists and turns in the box, before squaring the ball to Luke O'Nien but it's just out of reach for the Sunderland man sliding in at the far-post.

Graham Alexander and his Salford City side have hit a decent bit of form in their debut season in the English Football League.

And, ahead of their first FA Cup tie as an EFL club, there's been cause for celebration at Moor Lane.
