  2. 'We were camped in County's half' - Goodwinpublished at 17:49

FT: St Mirren 2-1 Ross County

St Mirren manager Jim Goodwin believes his side deserved all three points and showed great character in coming from behind to beat Ross County.

Goodwin tells BBC Sportsound: "I think we did deserve to win it based on the overall game. In the second half, for large spells of the game, we were camped in Ross County's half. They're a difficult team to break down. There's no doubt about it.

"I was getting a bit frustrated as the game went on, as were the fans because I felt we were getting on to some good areas and making some poor decisions. We should have worked the keeper more but I have to give great credit to the players for sticking at it.

"Going a goal behind and then showing the character to come back and win the game is a fantastic and really important result for us. Today was a big game and a draw wouldn't have been enough for us."

  3. 'There's a bigger picture here' - MacPheepublished at 17:44

    FT: Kilmarnock 3-0 Hearts

Hearts interim manager Austin MacPhee tells BBC Sportsound: "It's a crazy eight-minute period for us. The boys are disappointed with themselves. All the goals are preventable, but if you lose three goals as early in the game as we did the game-plan goes out the window. That's what we talked about after the game. It's so difficult once you give a team like Kilmarnock such a foot up in the game. It's been a very disappointing performance and the players and myself are in agreement at that.

"Winning 5-2 doesn't mean too much about where I stand in the club, and neither does losing 3-0. There's a bigger picture here and the board will be considering this over time. All I'll do is do my best in preparing the team ahead of Ibrox next Sunday, and we can't start the game like that next week.

"As I've said since I've been asked to take the team, I speak to Anne Budge every day and I'll just proceed until told otherwise, and I'll do my best for Hearts."

  4. 'We got what we deserved' - Fergusonpublished at 17:35

FT: St Mirren 2-1 Ross County

Ross County co-manager Steven Ferguson admits that his side deserved to lose all three points to St Mirren after a sub-par performance in the second half.

He tells BBC Sportsound: "That's it in a nutshell. I'm certainly not going to sit here and say we deserved to win the game on our second half performance.

"We took the lead through a good goal from Brian Graham, then we went in to the game at one each and you're still thinking it's game on. What we were looking for was a better performance in the second half than we got. We probably got what we deserved in the end."

  5. 'We need to eradicate mistakes' - Gary Holtpublished at 17:32

    FT: Celtic 4-0 Livingston

Gary Holt speaking to BBC Sportsound: "People will look at the scoreline and think it's a bit of a hiding. Up until the first goal we were well in the game and in good shape. We battled away and at times could have been braver. The first goal comes and it's something we could have cut out, but it's a great finish.

"Celtic are a world class team, they really are, and they've got a lot of pace and movement. But we nullified them at times. The goals are horrible. There's not one you can say is a great bit of play. It's wee individual mistakes we need to look at and we need to eradicate."

  6. Lennon hails 'comprehensive' Celtic winpublished at 17:28

    FT: Celtic 4-0 Livingston

Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Sportsound: "I'm thrilled with that [performance] today and it was a lot better than I could've expected.

"We had good control of the game against a good side. We scored a great opening goal and missed a couple of great chances to go even further ahead before half-time.

"The quality of the performance and the pace that we played at was fantastic. They [the players] are answering all the challenges we're asking of them at the minute.

"It's a really comprehensive win, off the back of a two-week break. I can't ask any more of the players: they look fit, powerful and playing with real intent."

  7. 'I can sense belief in the group' - Jack Rosspublished at 17:22

    FT: Hibs 3-1 Motherwell

Jack Ross speaking to BBC Sportsound: "To begin with it was a tough game. I expected a difficult game and Motherwell gave us that. They're a good side. They are where they are deservedly. In an attacking sense we showed a lot of good qualities, but ultimately when you come into your first game in charge it's nice to come out at the end with the result.

"It's all well and good having depth in the squad, but you have to get them to produce. Each and every one of them who came off the bench helped us win that game. The whole group will contribute to our success. A lot went right for us and the players should enjoy it.

"It can pick up very quickly, and you can sense that growing belief in the group, that they are a good side and they've got good qualities."

    FT: Kilmarnock 3-0 Hearts

Kilmarnock manager Angelo Alessio speaking to BBC Sportsound: "We started very well, with a good approach and attitude. We scored three goals in 20 minutes in a great performance. The players played well, everyone gave everything, so I'm happy.

"I see Chris Burke every day and he seems not to be 36 years old, he's like a young man. I'm happy for him.

"Every game here is tough, but I asked my team to get back in the right way and they showed that. I'm happy because we created three goals in 20 minutes and created many opportunities.

"We have a lot of games, and at the end of this period we have Rangers, St Mirren away and Celtic. It was important today to get the points today."

  20. FULL-TIME Hibernian 3-1 Motherwellpublished at 16:49 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2019

    That's it.

Jack Ross has his first win as Hibernian head coach at the first attempt, and it's an impressive one at home to high-flying Motherwell.

It was their response to going a goal down which ultimately won them the game. Hibs were initially slow out the blocks and were punished as Liam Polworth tapped in to an empty net after Jermaine Hylton's effort came back off the post.

But that goal kicked the Easter Road side into life, with goals from Christian Doidge and Florian Kamberi turning the game on its head just fifteen minutes later.

Just as Motherwell started to apply pressure in the second half, Daryl Horgan picked up the ball and countered down the Motherwell right-hand side, before slotting the ball into the corner to make sure of the points.

Ross will be very encouraged with what he saw from his team.
