1. Will Lennon risk Edouard?published at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2019

    HT: Rangers 0-0 Celtic

How does Neil Lennon respond? Celtic were completely bullied in that first half.

The manager has a strong bench at his disposal. Is Odsonne Edouard fit enough to make an impression from the bench?

The players that Celtic want on the ball, they just haven't touched it. Scott Brown has not been allowed to dictate, he's not setting the tone. Rangers' power has made them dominate the match. The worry for Steven Gerrard is Rangers have not taken one of their chances because you expect a hairdryer moment from Neil Lennon in the dressing room.

Rangers well on top. Celtic lucky to be level.

The Ibrox side are playing with real hunger and aggression, while the cup holders have not got their big players involved at all.

Fraser Forster has made three good stops - one fantastic - to ensure this game is still goalless.

It was a big save again. But Morelos should be scoring, he should be hitting that across the goalkeeper. Instead he gives Fraser Forster the opportunity to come out and make the save.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 40 mins

    Rangers 0-0 Celtic

Jeremie Frimpong is stopped by a tug from Glen Kamara and the Rangers midfielder is the first player booked.

At just 18, the full-back is the only real positive for Celtic. Well, from the outfield players. Fraser Forster is keeping them in the game.

Ryan Jack is hobbling off gingerly for now, with a couple of Rangers subs warming up. Steven Gerrard won't want to lose the early rhythm his team have set.

    Ouch!published at 32 mins

    Rangers 0-0 Celtic

Celtic look to spring a counter-attack as Lewis Morgan leads the charge. Ryan Jack does really well to track the forward and make a tackle but he has taken a bad bang on the leg in the process, coming to a jarring halt on the grass.

Worrying times for Rangers as the influential midfielder gets treatment.

What a poor decision from Kristoffer Ajer to dive in. He has to thank his goalkeeper for making the save, but maybe Alfredo Morelos should have cut it back across the box. It's a fascinating game from the way Rangers are approaching it, really asking questions of Celtic. The next goal could set the tone.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 29 mins

    Rangers 0-0 Celtic

Alfredo Morelos skips away from a lunging Kristoffer Ajer and cuts in from the right. The angle is tight but the Rangers striker has a go anyway, with Fraser Forster blocking the shot at his near post.

Celtic haven't got a foothold in the game yet. Scott Brown hasn't been a force in the game . All because of the way Rangers have set up. The two Ragers wide guys are playing inside.

From Rangers' fifth corner, Connor Goldson heads wide with a scruffy contact. Celtic haven't won a single cross into their penalty box.
