    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

And we have the game's first shot.

It's that man Kelechi Iheanacho, too. He rolls away from his man, drives infield and tries one from the edge of the box.

It's straight at Tim Krul, however, who saves easily.

A warning shot for the Canaries.

  2. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Jamie Vardy breaks away down the left but his cross is too deep and he fails to find a team-mate.

The hosts are already dominating possession here - it'll be a long afternoon for Norwich if it stays like this.

  3. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

Kelechi Iheanacho has looked bright so far.

But he's just trying to do a little too much, and has lost the ball on both occasions.

  4. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Norwich

It's an intense start in the east Midlands.

James Maddison, who faces his former club today, has already been fouled twice.

The Foxes just keep on winning and their confidence must be sky-high. They have now won eight league games in a row, and you have to fancy them to make it nine on Saturday.

    Prediction: 3-0

  9. 'Players coming through the lower leagues are braver'published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Everton winger on BBC Football Focus

Look at the background of the players at Leicester. They have all come through the lower leagues so they are more experienced and they can handle the physicality of it. They are more mature and they are brave enough to do that. It is great to see players coming through the leagues and progressing in the Premier League.

  10. Foxes chasing another fairytalepublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

It felt like nothing would ever match Leicester's miracle of 2015-16.

But Brendan Rodgers' magic spell has already earned more points at this stage of the season than Claudio Ranieri's side had on their adventure four years ago.

The Foxes have won eight league games in a row, with Prince Charming Jamie Vardy scoring in all of them.

Norwich appeared destined for their own 'happily ever after' when they beat Manchester City in mid-September, but Daniel Farke's side have only since had one win in 11 games.

Leicester are not your average fairytale. Could this story be happening *twice* upon a time?

Jamie Vardy's a man in form.

The Foxes front man has scored in eight straight Premier League games and is currently the division's runaway top scorer.

BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Clinton Morrison recently described him as "too good" and "ridiculous", and the numbers he's been posting are up there with the very best strikers from across Europe.

In fact, in Europe's top five leagues, only Lazio's Ciro Immobile has outscored Vardy.

Begging the question, is the former England man Europe's best striker?

  12. Norwich lie four points adriftpublished at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Leicester v Norwich

Elsewhere, at the bottom of the table, the Canaries find themselves four points adrift of safety.

They sit 19th, a point ahead of bottom side Watford, but four points behind Aston Villa and Southampton, and they face a tough assignment today.

Norwich will hope to take points off the Foxes today, but they'll also be hoping Sheffield United and West Ham can do them favours by beating Villa and Southampton respectively.

  13. Liverpool open up 11-point gappublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Leicester v Norwich

In the Premier League's early game, Liverpool edged past Watford at Anfield to open up an 11-point gap over second-place Leicester.

A win here will see the Foxes cut the gap back to eight points.

Can they do it? Let me know with the thumbs.
