  1. 'That's McCarthy's bread and butter'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    West Ham 2-1 Southampton

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on Final Score

I feel sorry for Alex McCarthy... That's normally his bread and butter. He goes up, anticipated that only he would get it, but Sebastian Haller gets up there. The angle's really tight. He's finished it really nicely.

David Ljunggren: Another game and heaps more garbage football from Newcastle, who couldn’t score against their opponents even if they were down to six or seven players. It’s awful to watch

Chris Arkwright: Alonso proving that he is still one of the most dangerous wing back in world football, strikes a ball so cleanly and has a great ability to get in to dangerous spaces

  3. 'His finish was first class'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    West Ham 2-1 Southampton

    Tony Pulis
Former Bournemouth and Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Haller jumped really early to put the keeper off and his recovery after the bals bounces and his finish was first class.

    All Chelsea at the minute.

Reece James tries his luck from distance but it's comfortable for Aaron Ramsdale.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

Shouts for a penalty! But that's square in the face for James Tarkowski from Miguel Almiron's effort. Matt Ritchie latches on to a loose ball from the following corner and hammers it left-footed towards goal, but a lunging Jay Rodriguez deflects it narrowly wide with his studs.

Crunch. Phil Bardsley finds himself in the book after rattling the ankles of Dwight Gayle with a mistimed tackle. That gets the home crowd going...

  7. goal

GOAL - West Ham 2-1 Southamptonpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Sebastian Haller (40 mins)

Keeper! Oh Alex McCarthy you've got to do better there. Michail Antonio does really well again to first win a header and then hook a cross into the middle. McCarthy should just come and catch it but he's beaten to it by the leap of Sebastian Haller. He heads it straight up in the air, and then reacts well to get up and slide the ball in to the open goal.

    Big goal for the Hammers!

    Bournemouth 0-1 Chelsea

Bournemouth will have to go a little more direct now. The Cherries loft it into Callum Wilson but Fikayo Tomori gets a toe to the ball and pokes it away from the forward.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    West Ham 1-1 Southampton

    How has that stayed out?!

West Ham have a corner, great delivery whipped in and Issa Diop is steaming in to head it from just four yards out.

Except he doesn't actually make any contact at all, it hits James Ward-Prowse on the head and flashes wide.

  10. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

It's suddenly got a bit lively at St James' Park.

Matt Ritchie, not the man you'd particularly want attacking a header, nods wide when unmarked at the back post - should've done better - and moments later Danny Rose goes lunging into a tackle and gets a yellow card.

  11. 'Alonso is technically one of the best I've seen'published at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Bournemouth 0-1 Chelsea

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender on Final Score

When I played with Marcos Alonso at Fiorentina, he always took free-kicks and always scored a lot of goals. The one question was his defending. But in this formation, he can go forward more, and technically he's one of the best I've seen.

  12. Postpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

Southampton's tails are up now as they flash a lovely ball right across the goalmouth but there's nobody there...

    Bruce has started with Gayle

But I think he's set up to fail

    I think his plan

    To rest St-Maximin

Will make our attack far too stale

  14. 'Southampton have played exceptionally well'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    West Ham 1-1 Southampton

    Tony Pulis

From nowhere Southampton have played exceptionally well, they have played well through the pitch, it's a great pull back and it's a great finish.

    Marcos Alonso (33 mins)

    Just as I was saying...

This time Olivier Giroud does latch on to a Reece James delivery, but the France forward can only help it against the crossbar.

It drops inside the six-yard box and Marcos Alonso is there to smash home from close range.

    Chelsea make that possession count.

  16. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Bournemouth 0-0 Chelsea

All Chelsea, just to no avail so far. Reece James is forced to hook a hopeful ball into the box from right-back but Olivier Giroud can't do anything with it at the back stick.

Bournemouth happy to let the visitors play in front of them.

  17. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Southamptonpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Michael Obafemi (31 mins)

What a counter! Southampton get men forwards, makeshift right-back James Ward-Prowse barrels ahead and cuts back into the danger area.

Michael Obafemi is arriving on it and loops a shot up and over Lukasz Fabianski and in. Strange trajectory on that, bit of a mishit?

  18. Postpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

Michail Antonio is an absolute menace. He's in behind again but can't pick out a team-mate this time. And here's the counter...

  19. 'It's a weak finish'published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on Final Score

Miguel Almiron has got to put his laces through it. It's a weak finish and he's better than that - but he's lively and he's dangerous.

  20. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 29 February 2020

    Newcastle 0-0 Burnley

Better from the hosts. Quick feet and a spot of good fortune see Miguel Almiron escape inside the Burnley box, but the Newcastle forward's side-footed effort is easily saved by Nick Pope.

Best chance of the match so far.
