A great chance for Lyndon Dykes as the ball falls to him inside the box. The big Scotland striker prods a first-time shot on target but Tomas Vaclik sticks out of a foot to keep it out.

It is now officially desperation time. Do you go to a back four and bring on a player in the wide areas who can go past a player. They have to take some chances because Scotland need at least a point out of this, at the moment it looks a long way from that.

Scotland threaten from the corner as Che Adams does well to nod the ball back into the six yard box. Lyndon Dykes gets a touch but the goalie is out well to block.

A super, thrusting run from Stuart Armstrong straight down the middle and then he lets fly with a shot that spins off a defender and rustles against the roof of the net.

Scotland are in a hurry to find a way back but the ball just won't drop for Lyndon Dykes in a busy Czech penalty area.

David Marshall finds himself a long, long way out of goal. Its a brilliant finish by Patrik Schick, but if you are that far out as the 'keeper, you better be able to get back in. The question has to be asked why he's so far out of goal, because Scotland don't use their goalkeeper as an extra defender.

I'm sitting here as a Scotsman and I'm gutted, but you have to applaud that class, skill, and execution. He's shaped it outside the post, and brought it back underneath the crossbar beyond David Marshall. That's as good a goal as I've seen for a long time.

Almost a freak own goal as a Czech defender has a hack at a long pass over the top from Stuart Armstrong. It looks like the ball is looping over the keeper but Tomas Vaclik is able to paw it away.

A good response to that shaky opening to the second half as Jack Hendry curls a shot against the crossbar from the edge of the box after the keeper punches clear under pressure from Lyndon Dykes.
