    Finland 0-1 Russia

... the free kick is sent into the box, nodded into the middle of the area and Paulus Arajuuri jumps but heads onto the roof of the net.

  2. YELLOW CARD

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Georgi Dzhikiya is booked for a foul on Pyry Soiri and Finland have a free kick in a promising position...

  3. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Chris Waddle

Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Russia have seen it through so far, they've managed the second half a lot better. They've played more relaxed, though they haven't created a lot of chances which could become a problem for them.

  4. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Russia are almost there with just four minutes of normal time remaining.

There's no grandstand finish from Finland as they chase this. They are looking quite tired now.

  5. SUBSTITUTION

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Finland throw on another forward as Fredrik Jensen replaces Joona Tovio.

Alexander Sobolev is on for Russia skipper Artem Dzyuba while Maksim Mukhin replaces Aleksei Miranchuk.

  6. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Finland are not one of Europe's greatest teams. They look a bit shell-shocked at the moment. The emphasis is on them now to take the game to Russia.

  7. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Ouch! Artem Dzyuba clatters into Joona Toivio as they go for the ball. Looks a painful one but Toivio is OK and Finland have a free kick.

Just under 10 minutes to go.

  8. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

There's no real purpose to Russia in this tournament so far. Yes they are winning this game but you've got to look beyond that. There's no real system that they work to at the moment.

Joe Wedgwood: Pukki is the sort of man you leave on the pitch whether he's playing well or not!

  11. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

With Belgium in their final group game a point here would be massive for Finland.

Russia dominated the first half but are seemingly happy to try and sit back and defend their lead now.

Willem Mevius: That should have been a goal. Russia do not have enough quality up front. This match should have been over a long time ago, but Finland are still in it somehow.

  13. Watch: Russia go close to a second

    Finland 0-1 Russia

  14. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Pukki has been disappointing. Not really at his sharpest. It's only natural when you haven't played much football recently.

  15. SUBSTITUTION

    Finland 0-1 Russia

I don't know why but I quite like saying Pohjanpalo, Jack.

Double change for Finland as they look to try and rescue a point. Jukka Raitala is replaced by Pyry Soiri while Teemu Pukki, who hasn't looked 100%, makes way for Lassi Lappalainen.

    Fifteen minutes to go.

Jack Tanner: Is there a better sounding name at #EURO2020 than Dzyuba?

  17. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

Kuzyaev picks his spot, it's an excellent save from the keeper. It really is first class. He gets it right and tips it round.

  18. GREAT SAVE!

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Finland are caught out pushing high up and Russia counter. The ball is worked to Daler Kuzyaev, who is in space on the edge of the area but his curled effort is tipped behind by Lukás Hrádecky.

  19. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

    Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC One

There's an emphasis on Finland to create. Have they got enough in the locker to do so?

  20. Post update

    Finland 0-1 Russia

Daniel O'Shaughnessy and Jukka Raitala both ping balls into the box as Finland press but both crosses come to nothing.

Boos and jeers from the home crowd as the Finns start to take control of this game.
