  5. CLOSE!

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Karim Onisiwo, who has literally just come on for Austria, has a golden opportunity!

It's crossed in from the right and he's got height advantage at the back post. He just can't get enough power on the header and it's easy for the keeper. What a chance!

  6. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

    Jermaine Jenas

    Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC One

Why has David Alaba not been doing that since the start of the game? Look how close that is, inches away from getting that right and finding the top corner.

  7. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

    Rob Green

Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alaba is the one player you don't want on the ball shooting from distance.

Stekelenburg showed incredible judgement to see it wide but then rightly shouted at his defence, because they just backed off.

  8. Post update

Patrick van Aanholt tries to hook a clearance down field but Georginio Wijnaldum was there for support a few yards ahead.

Memphis Depay has done his job. On comes Luuk de Jong for the Dutch.

  10. CLOSE!

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

That's better! David Alaba takes advantage of the space in the middle and gets to the edge of the Netherlands box.

He sees a gap to shoot and takes it - absolutely thumping it just inches wide of the right post! Ooft.

  11. Post update

There's 10 minutes to go plus stoppage time.

The Netherlands are joining Italy and Belgium in the next round as group winners unless anything drastically changes.

  12. Pinball in the penalty box

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Here was that chance earlier in this half that the Netherlands couldn't take.

  13. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Stefan Leiner thinks about the cross but instead chooses to pass it off inside.

Georginio Wijnaldum then wins it back. He's been exceptional again, particularly in this second half.

  14. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Donyell Malen has looked good since coming on. His weaving run down the right is eventually stopped by Valentino Lazaro.

Denzel Dumfries comes across to deal with Lazaro and takes a bit of a painful nudge.

  15. SUBSTITUTION

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Marten de Roon is off. He's been decent again for the Netherlands. On comes Ryan Gravenberch.

  16. CLOSE!

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Austria have had a few corners now. This one bounces dangerously off the knee of Marcel Sabitzer and rolls wide.

He had no idea where the ball was. Almost got lucky!

  17. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Denzel Dumfries is only the second Dutchman to score in his first two appearances at the Euros.

The other? Ruud van Nistelrooy. Legend.

  18. SUBSTITUTION

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

Another Austrian change. Valentino Lazaro is on for Christoph Baumgartner

  19. Post update

    Netherlands 2-0 Austria

    Jermaine Jenas

    Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC One

That ridiculous high line that Austria have been playing and they've stuck with it this half as well and it's cost them again. They've committed everyone on that high line and Memphis Depay just spots something, it's just a matter of if he takes the chance or gets his head up and passes it. Denzel Dumfries was there for the option and he wasn't going to miss that one.

That's the bit of comfort that the Netherlands have needed and have deserved.
