Poland had more chances, exposed us for what we are, weak defensively.
Gerard Moreno has made us more clinical, but we are making so many mistakes and letting Poland in.
It is very much an open game.

It has been an electric game, end-to-end and played at such a frenetic pace. There's opportunities for both sides.
Spain are in the lead, but they have had the warning shot!

None of these went in...
Just say what you really think, Andy. Don't hold back!

Spain are so boring to watch. Slowing the game down, backwards and sideways passing. It's sending me to sleep. Awful team.

Alvaro Morata's goal the difference so far. Poland have to find a goal from somewhere.

Owen: I guess the draught excluder is actually quite safe, since once the free kick taker has seen someone on the ground they're not going to try the shot under the wall. Unless their team is already 3 goals up and they're a right... well, sure you can all finish that.
Mike Hall: This is the most one-sided game that I have seen in this tournament. Poland only look like shipping more goals.
Spain 1-0 Poland
Since his debut for the national side in October 2019, Gerard Moreno has been directly involved in nine goals for Spain (five goals, four assists), more than any other player for them in this time.
Spain 1-0 Poland
Jordi Alba puts a brilliant ball in from the left and it's on a plate for Gerard Moreno. He puts it into the side-netting!
These chances have to go in...

Brilliant strike from the edge of the box, its a great touch out of his feet. Off the post and the only thing for Lewandowski, is he's touch. It comes back at him so quick and it gives Simon a chance to get up and hope the ball hits him.

His team can't believe they haven't equalised. It was a sweet strike. He caught it beautifully. A man of Lewandowski's talent you'd expect him to find the back of the net.
Spain 1-0 Poland
Noooooooo!
Robert Lewandowski leaves it for Tymoteusz Puchacz but he's blocked off on the left. It comes back to him a few moments later, he hits it against the post, it rebounds to Lewandowski and he ends up smacking it straight at the keeper from point-blank range!
You'd put your money on him scoring.

The inclusion of Moreno, because he's a centre forward, in this side has allowed Morata to drift out to the left and it allows an extra player for the combinations. Its a good, clever ploy from Luis Enrique.
Spain 1-0 Poland
Here's that goal from Alvaro Morata.
Was it offside?
Spain 1-0 Poland
Dani Olmo is getting into some really good positions. He gets past the full-back on the left and drills a low cross in but it's hooked away. Alvaro Morata was waiting to pounce.
Spain 1-0 Poland
Alvaro Morata tries to weave into the box off the left but he goes down under contact from Bartosz Bereszynski and puts his arms all over the ball as he appeals for a free-kick.
He doesn't get it and he's penalised for handball.

Having the draft excluder under the wall allows the wall to jump. It then means that the taker knows it has to be something special to get the ball up and down so they go goalkeeper side and Szczesny has it covered.
Spain 1-0 Poland
The free-kick is a simple one for Wojciech Szczesny. Poland then counter and what a chance!
Robert Lewandowski tees it up for Karol Swiderski and he's a yard or so off the line. He tries to volley it in and he plants it over the bar!
Why didn't he just head it?

He's really dangerous when he comes in from that left side, Olmo. Every time he drifted in against Sweden he caused problems. He's got good feet. Nice and quick.
