  1. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Ukraine simply must offer more in attack this half.

Substitute Viktor Tsygankov produces a few fancy step-overs down the left - but in the meantime there's a coming together between Roman Yaremchuk and Martin Hinteregger in the box which causes the referee to stop play.

  2. YELLOW CARD

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Visar Musliu has his hands all over Mephis Depay as the ball is played up to the Netherlands forward who was looking to break.

The referee deems it a yellow card offence.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONS

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Frank de Boer has made a couple of changes at the start of the second half.

Steven Berghuis and Jurrien Timber have come on.

  4. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Only Italy (14) versus Turkey have recorded more shots in the first half of a game at Euro 2020 than Austria's 13 today.

  5. KICK-OFF

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

We're back under way in Amsterdam.

  6. KICK-OFF

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Austria had 13 shots in that first half. 10 from inside the box.

    Ukraine managed just one.

Andriy Shevchenko makes one change for the second half - Viktor Tsygankov replaces Ruslan Malinovskiy.

    Away we go again!

  7. 'They need more goals'

    HT: North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Former Netherlands midfielder Mario Melchiot, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live: "There were a couple of occasions where you could see the Netherlands' backline was being tested and that is what I'm worried about.

"They need more goals to steady the ship, because they're being tested by a team they don't want to be tested by."

  8. 'Depay has matured'

    #bbcfootball

Sid Dodia: Really impressed by the Depay game play. Looks strong on the counter, really has matured from his Man Utd time. His dribbling looks better than Neymar who just goes down with just a minimal of challenges - not the case with Depay. Nice buy for Barcelona.

Matt Kowech: Austria have been so wasteful.

  9. Class shines through...

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

David Alaba created four chances in the first half against Ukraine.

Only Martin Harnik against Croatia at Euro 2008 (five) has created more chances for Austria in a whole game at a European Championship.

    David Alaba
  10. 'Unfortunate to be behind'

    HT: North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

    Andy Townsend

BBC Sport pundit and former Republic of Ireland midfielder

With the way they've committed themselves, North Macedonia can count themselves a little unfortunate to be behind.

  11. 'Awful Ukraine'

    HT: Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ukraine have been awful. You look at their first game in the tournament against the Dutch, they looked a really good team - but they have been outrun and outfought against Austria.

  12. As it stands in Group C

A reminder of how things stand at half-time.

Austria will go through as runners-up if they retain their lead over Ukraine, who have dropped to third place.

They will have to wait to see if they can qualify as a best third-placed finisher unless they can equalise. A draw or a win will see them move back up to second.

  13. Post update

    HT: North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Donyell Malen is a former Arsenal academy graduate and was compared to Thierry Henry in his fledgling career.

He flourished at PSV Eindhoven in 2020-21 – his return of 28goals in 49 games for club and country has seen him linked with Barcelona and Juventus after just three seasons of senior football.

Malen's assist for Memphis Depay's goal was his second in successive matches for his country.

  14. HALF-TIME

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Into the final seconds of added time at the end of the first half, and Ukraine have a corner.

What a time this would be to score...

Austria clear it to protect their slender advantage going into the break!

  15. Toothless Ukraine...

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Roman Yaremchuk has led the line for Ukraine but seen little of the ball. Just nine touches in all, comfortably the lowest of any player to start. His side have been relatively toothless.

  16. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Roman Yaremchuk is slipped in but can't wrestle a yard of space to get a shot away as he's shepherded away from goal.

The game is opening up, and Austria get themselves down the other end but Stefan Lainer slices a shot high and wide.

  17. HALF-TIME

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Memphis Depay's goal gives the Netherlands the half-time lead in Amsterdam against a spirited North Macedonia.

  18. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

The Netherlands will be happy to reach half-time with the lead. North Macedonia have thrown everything at this.

    Two additional minutes.

  19. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Marko fluffs his lines! It's an awful miss. The ball's whipped in, he's on the penalty spot, it's a really good ball in. He just has to concentrate on the connection with his left foot and he pokes the ball hopelessly wide. Terrible miss.

  20. CLOSE!

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    HUGE CHANCE!

And it's Marko Arnautovic who it falls to - the man Austria would want - but, on the stretch, he sends his shot wide of the mark.

Austria's 10 shots so far is their highest ever tally in the first half of a European Championship game - but they're still only 1-0 up.
