'They need more goals'
HT: North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands
Former Netherlands midfielder Mario Melchiot, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live: "There were a couple of occasions where you could see the Netherlands' backline was being tested and that is what I'm worried about.
"They need more goals to steady the ship, because they're being tested by a team they don't want to be tested by."

'Depay has matured'
#bbcfootball
Sid Dodia: Really impressed by the Depay game play. Looks strong on the counter, really has matured from his Man Utd time. His dribbling looks better than Neymar who just goes down with just a minimal of challenges - not the case with Depay. Nice buy for Barcelona.
Matt Kowech: Austria have been so wasteful.
Class shines through...
Ukraine 0-1 Austria
David Alaba created four chances in the first half against Ukraine.
Only Martin Harnik against Croatia at Euro 2008 (five) has created more chances for Austria in a whole game at a European Championship.

With the way they've committed themselves, North Macedonia can count themselves a little unfortunate to be behind.
'Awful Ukraine'

Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live
Ukraine have been awful. You look at their first game in the tournament against the Dutch, they looked a really good team - but they have been outrun and outfought against Austria.
As it stands in Group C
A reminder of how things stand at half-time.
Austria will go through as runners-up if they retain their lead over Ukraine, who have dropped to third place.
They will have to wait to see if they can qualify as a best third-placed finisher unless they can equalise. A draw or a win will see them move back up to second.

Marko fluffs his lines! It's an awful miss. The ball's whipped in, he's on the penalty spot, it's a really good ball in. He just has to concentrate on the connection with his left foot and he pokes the ball hopelessly wide. Terrible miss.
CLOSE!
Ukraine 0-1 Austria
HUGE CHANCE!
And it's Marko Arnautovic who it falls to - the man Austria would want - but, on the stretch, he sends his shot wide of the mark.
Austria's 10 shots so far is their highest ever tally in the first half of a European Championship game - but they're still only 1-0 up.
