  1. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Five minutes to half-time and another chance for North Macedonia.

They win a corner and Visar Musliu is allowed to jump unchallenged but his header fizzes wide.

    Another warning for the Netherlands.

  2. Waiting on a knockout

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Austria v Ukraine - players clash over a throw in

Austria have never escaped the group stages at a European Championship.

The last time they played a knockout game at a major tournament was in the 1954 World Cup.

It's so far, so good in Bucharest...

  3. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

A lovely back-heel by Goran Pandev which allows North Macedonia a chance to break. Excellent energy from the veteran.

  4. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The Austrian doctors have a responsibility to their player to do the right thing. Baumgartner should have been taken off straight away and inspected by an independent doctor in the sanctuary of the dressing room. That was absolutely ludicrous [that play continued].

Is the player's welfare being put first? Clearly not.

  5. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Marko Arnautovic takes a knock on the head as Ukraine goalkeeper Georgi Bushchan charges out of his goal to intercept David Alaba's attempted pass.

Austria then get their eighth corner in 37 minutes, but Bushchan catches.

  6. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

The Netherlands have taken hold of this game as half-time approaches. But North Macedonia have proved they are a threat by hitting the post and having a goal disallowed. The Oranje have had six attempts - two on target, three off target, and one blocked.

  7. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

David Alaba plays for Austria as if he's playing a five-a-side match with his mates, he's everywhere!

Austria have control again after a brief encouraging spell for Ukraine. They're almost caught out on the counter, though, but Martin Hinteregger rescues his side.

    .
  8. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Memphis Depay is bang in form for the Oranje.

He has notched his 50th goal/assist for the Netherlands (28 goals, 22 assists) in 67 appearances. He also has 9 goals and three assists in his last 10 games for his country in all competitions.

    .
  9. SUBSTITUTION

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Christoph Baumgartner, who clashed heads with Illia Zabarnyi before his goal, is struggling here.

Yep, he's going to be replaced. A big blow for Austria.

Alessandro Schopf comes on in his place.

  10. Get Involved

    #bbcfootball

Mark Doughty: That was a clear foul in the buildup to that Dutch goal. Straight through the back of Pandev.

Jack Tanner: Pleased that Ukraine vs Austria isn't the cautious draw suiting both sides that I feared it might be.

Dave: North Macedonia not getting the rub of the green.

  11. CLOSE!

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

Two big chances for the Netherlands in quick succession as Denzel Dumfries - one of the players of the tournament - is denied by the keeper before Memphis Depay's powerful follow up cannons off a North Macedonia player.

    .
  12. Brains and brilliance...

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Christoph Baumgartner reportedly jumped from the sixth to eighth grade at school, such was his academic progress.

On the pitch he scored nine goals and provided six assists for Hoffenheim last season. Some pundits have drawn comparisons with his style of play and that of Germany legend Michael Ballack.

  13. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's the middle of the park where Austria are absolutely dominant. More tenacious, more aggressive. Ukraine are really in trouble here.

  14. CLOSE!

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Signs that Ukraine are coming to life now.

    That's a huge chance!

Mykola Shaparenko draws a good save from Daniel Bachmann, who pushes the ball out just far enough to put it out of the reach of Andriy Yarmolenko at the back post.

    .
  15. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

This has been a breathless contest.

One goal ruled out, one attempt crashing against the post and a lovely counter-attack to give the Netherlands the lead.

    Will North Macedonia respond?

  16. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Christoph Baumgartner is now the youngest scorer at Euro 2020 at 21 years and 324 days.

It's only the second time Austria have ever scored the first goal in nine European Championship games.

    .
  17. As things stand...

Austria's goal has mixed up the table as they now move into second place - an automatic qualification spot - as things stand.

    Ukraine drop to third.

The Netherlands are already through and North Macedonia will finish bottom so the goal in Amsterdam doesn't change anything.

    .
  18. Post update

    North Macedonia 0-1 Netherlands

    Andy Townsend

BBC Sport pundit and former Republic of Ireland midfielder

It's a wonderful counter attack. It's a really good example of how to commit people forward and apply the perfect finishing touch. It's a really good ball from Memphis, he gets it back from Malen and it's a terrific one touch finish.

  19. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can't say they haven't deserved it.

Baumgartner is in the centre of the goal with a free run, six yards out, it hits him on the sole of the foot. It zips into the surface and there's very little chance for the Ukraine goalkeeper.

  20. Post update

    Ukraine 0-1 Austria

Another cracking ball in from David Alaba and it's met by an Austrian head first - though this time there's no concern for Ukraine goalkeeper Georgi Bushchan.

Ukraine can't afford to keep allowing Alaba the chance to send those crosses in...
