Nobody really deserves to be a goal up, but the goal itself was outstanding.

Damsgaard seems to strike the ball from the bottom and lift it up, he makes it spin a certain way. He doesn't look at the ball, he looks at the white marks on the pitch to tell him how far out he his and how hard to hit it. It's all about maths - these footballers are all mathematicians!

Mikkel Damsgaard has become Denmark's youngest ever goalscorer at a major tournament - 20 years and 353 days.

He is the first Dane to score from outside the box at a major tournament since Jon Dahl Tomasson vs Sweden at Euro 2004.

We'll bring you the Denmark goal soon, but here was Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's good shot a few minutes earlier.

Goalless at the break and, as things stand, these two are heading through to the last 16.

Great strike from Damsgaard, he knew exactly what he wanted to do. What a finish from the young lad. Set it outside the post, brings it in and the keeper had no chance.

In Euro 2016 no team went through with three points and a negative goal difference.

It doesn't mean it won't happen this time but Denmark will boost their chances of going through as one of the best third-placed teams if they increase their -1 goal difference.
