Swiss daily Le Temps, external says tonight’s is “the match of a generation” and quotes Granit Xhaka as saying that, given the team’s age, “it’s this year or never… as many won’t be around next time the Euros take place. Until then, they have tonight to really leave a sign.

"The match against France is a perfect occasion: the only way Switzerland will get through is if it accomplishes a feat. And this is exactly what the fans ask of this generation.”
